Forum Post: Thank You Michael Moore

Posted 13 years ago on Oct. 14, 2011, 9:41 a.m. EST by RationalReaper (188)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

For planting the seeds and sending fertilizer and water every coupla years via documentary...to nurture them.

It is strange that it has taken soo GD long for the people to actually take to the streets.

I guess they finally realized that nobody was going to do it for them..that they had to get off their asses and insist on a change that we can believe in.Change that we can depend on!

Again...Thanks Mike

I find it interesting that MM is even allowed to say anything. When he and the other celebrities give away their millions then I will consider him a legitimate spokesperson. Until then, he - like many of the protestors - is just a breeze blowing wind.

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

MM has given a lot of money away...you know not that of which you speak

[-] 3 points by censorshipiswrong (8) 13 years ago

Michael moore is the biggest hypocrite EVER. He is so fucking greedy and you people are eating out of his hands!? He is what you people hate so mch

[-] 0 points by kmanpdx (105) 13 years ago

Can you prove it? If not, it's just rhetoric.

[-] -2 points by mantaseed (36) 13 years ago

Fucking rediculous.

Michael moore is a rich greedy hypocrite!

[-] -1 points by TIOUAISE (2526) 13 years ago

Michael Moore's name will be in the history books, just like the OWS Movement. They are America's TRUE PATRIOTS, the embodiment of the Spirit of 1776.

God bless America and her most valiant defenders!

[-] 1 points by Monkeyboy69 (150) 13 years ago

R u smoking drugs? In history books? Stop deluding yourself

[-] 1 points by brochompsy (91) from New York, NY 13 years ago

I agree with that. As a documentary filmmaker, he's only okay. He may be a political activist, but mostly just an entertainer.

[-] 1 points by TIOUAISE (2526) 13 years ago

His intelligence, his courage, not to mention his many brilliant documentaries assure him a place in posterity.

And no, I don't smoke. I get high on Life, Love and Laughter and wish you the same.

[-] -2 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

shut the fuck up

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

heheh..I just love saying that......tourettes maybe? I dunno

[-] 2 points by LankyB (11) 13 years ago

Michael Moore is a part of the false left-right paradigm in the US. He's like the commentator in pro-wrestling that always supports the good guy, whilst Bill O'Reilly is the commentator that always supports the bad guy. They are as bad as each other, and both perpetuate the system. After making a fortune from perpetuating the system that he is supposedly against, now MM wants to hijack this movement. Dont be fooled.

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

Michael Moore is neither...if I had to label him...I'd say he is a Rationalist.

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

bump up

[-] 1 points by troll (2) 13 years ago

Thank you for disseminating falsehoods designed to benefit the democrat party.

[-] 1 points by barthw52 (41) 13 years ago

How about some Michael Ruppert?? He has been on this train for quite some time now. I think that he really shows us all the bigger picture.

[-] 1 points by stcous (5) 13 years ago

MM is one the nations finest documentarians--and not just on financial issues. He consistently advocates the least among us and the diminishing middle class...this is undeniable and to be applauded.

Whether he is wealthy or not is a moot point. Bill Gates and Warren Buffet have been consistent in their support of reversing the trend of hyper-consolidation of wealth...they know it's bad for economy, bad for democracy.

[-] 2 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

Bill Gates...not so much...he is a philanthropist who uses his donations to offset taxes....he mostly hires techs from the middle east and far east and pays them less than he would pay Americans.

Michael Moore is a corporate hack. He makes more money than all of us put together. I hope that fat fuck comes down here soon. I'll stick my corn cob right up his ass. That fat fuck eats more corporate greasy food than all the fat fucks on wall street. Michael Moore can kiss my gay skinny ass. I wouldn't greas that fat fucks hole and do him with your dick. Michael Moore is the problem with America. He hides behind the corporate vail, then pops his fat fucking greasy head out and pretends to know it all and be with us. He would eat Obama's lying ass in a heart beat. He hates communism and socialism. If he didn't he would give us 2 cents of his millions. That fat greasy fuck better not come to our gay party.

[-] 1 points by SmallBizGuy (378) from Savannah, GA 13 years ago

I guess that the 1% ain't so bad after all. I guess Mr. Moore has proven that the 1% is an important part of our nation. Maybe the protestors should stop stuffing all of the 1% into the "bad apple" barrel, and start working together with everyone that has a goal of making this nation great again. I disagree with Mr. Moore's philosophy, but I don't question his good intentions.

[-] 2 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

nobody has inferred that 1%ers were not important.Somes are good and somes are bad.

[-] 2 points by SmallBizGuy (378) from Savannah, GA 13 years ago

Should we not tax the good 1%ers? Or does paying more taxes make a 1%er "Good"?

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

read my graduated flat tax proposal.....it does not discriminate...everyone should contribute according to scale...I've put an example of an 8 scale structure for the graduated flat tax....it makes everyone equal...no one good...no one bad

[-] 1 points by RolandA (8) 13 years ago

Sounds like a SimCity plan to me!!

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

never been to sim city....but my plan beats 999 by a long shot...I do know a bit about economics

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

In fact I'll bet my left one that you didn't even bother to scroll down the page to read my plan.....it's nothing like the sim city plan.....take the effort to look at it...was posted this morning....respond from there so people can also review and respond

[-] 1 points by Idaltu (662) 13 years ago

Yes! And a mighty thanks to all those protesters out there willing to challenge the system! And after today's headlines you now know your efforts have paid off....NEVER GIVE UP

Exactly, but many more people will come to your side when you are proactive (for “new” Business & Government solutions), instead of reactive (against “old” Business & Government solutions), which is why what we most immediately need is a comprehensive “new” strategy that implements all our various socioeconomic demands at the same time, regardless of party, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management System of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves; that is, using a Focused Direct Democracy organized according to our current Occupations & Generations. Consequently, I have posted a 1-page Summary of the Strategically Weighted Policies, Organizational Operating Structures, and Tactical Investment Procedures necessary to do this at:

http://getsatisfaction.com/americanselect/topics/on_strategic_legal_policy_organizational_operational_structures_tactical_investment_procedures

Join

http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/StrategicInternationalSystems/

because we need 100,000 “support clicks” at AmericansElect.org to support a Presidential Candidate -- such as any given political opportunist you'd like to draft -- in support of the above bank-focused platform.

Most importantly, remember, as cited in the first link above, that as Bank Owner-Voters in your 1 of 48 "new" Business Investment Groups (or "new" Congressional Committees) you become the "new" Congress replacing the "old" Congress according to your current Occupation & Generation, called a Focused Direct Democracy.

Therefore, any Candidate (or Leader) therein, regardless of party, is a straw man, a puppet; it's the STRATEGY – the sequence of steps – that the people organize themselves under, in Military Internet Formation of their Individual Purchasing & Group Investment Power, that's important. Sequence is key.

Why? Because there are Natural Social Laws – in mathematical sequence – that are just like Natural Physical Laws, such as the Law of Gravity. You must follow those Natural Social Laws or the result will be Injustice, War, etc.

The FIRST step in Natural Social Law is to CONTROL the Banks as Bank Owner-Voters. If you do not, you will inevitably be UNJUSTLY EXPLOITED by the Top 10% Management Group of Business & Government who have a Legitimate Profit Motive, just like you, to do so.

Consequently, you have no choice but to become Candidates (or Leaders) yourselves as Bank Owner-Voters according to your current Occupation & Generation.

So please JOIN the 2nd link, so we can make our support clicks at AmericansElect.org when called for by e-mail from the group in the 2nd link, and then you will see and feel how your goals can be accomplished within the strategy of the 1st link as a “new” Candidate (or Leader) of your Occupation & Generation.

I believe I am both pro-active and reactive

[-] 1 points by atki4564 (1259) from Lake Placid, FL 13 years ago

And?

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

And? What the fuck do you mean by And?...I'm doing everything I can do on my end.

[-] 1 points by atki4564 (1259) from Lake Placid, FL 13 years ago

I love you, but obviously no one has taught you to READ and THINK critically before you respond LOGICALLY, not EMOTIONALLY. Peace is the absence of emotion, and so is good judgment. And please don't respond with yet another insult just because I criticized your critical thinking abilities, for this only damages your own reputation, not mine.

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

I'm not emotional...I grew up on the streets...this is the way I speak...I type the same way. Trust me...there was no animosity whatsoever in my response.

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

Be happy I don't stutter.....I am college educated too btw...I possess critical thinking skills at an extremely high level when need be.

[-] 1 points by atki4564 (1259) from Lake Placid, FL 13 years ago

My apologies, I hope you'll join our group in the 2nd link to further empower ourselves. Did you read and think critically about what I said in the first link above?

[-] 1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

of course....but when you ask a simple...And?....it's kind of a sarcastic non question...I'm just a no nonsense kinda guy...think Chris Christie with a left leaning ideology....that would be me.

[-] 0 points by MikeLobo (67) 13 years ago

I know Michael Moore has some good ideas and some bad ideas. The problem is he calls for and end to capitalism while is funded by hollywood and makes movies to make more money. He is a capitalist plain and simple, yes he bring up good question for the people to debate which is what is awesome about this country ( being albe to freely discuss ideas) but I never understand his beef with capitalism because irt is why he is so popular. People vote with dollars in this country and he has been voted up very high.

[-] -1 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

NO!..He doesn't call for an end to Capitalism....he calls for an end to unbridled, unregulated, corrupt....wild west capitalism.

[-] 1 points by MikeLobo (67) 13 years ago

Excuse me but maybe you haven't seen this video, where Michale Moore calls for an end of capitalism.

Awaiting your response....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Jadl4eoYWM

[-] 0 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

No he doesn't...he calls for an end to the present day practices of capitalism...I've seen the film 5 or 6 times.....only...I paid attention and I didn't let Rush Lardass or Glenn Fleck explain to me what Michael Moore's message was. I have learned that I am better informed if I pay attention and think for myself.

[-] 0 points by MikeLobo (67) 13 years ago

Seriously I'm 25 years old not 55+ why would I listen to Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh (except when he is on Family Guy) but I'm not a tea party member. You obviously are a loser who doesn't like any other opinions you are yelling at me through caps and making fun of me that makes you an intolerant fascist and you probably shouldn't be apart of a freedom movement. You don't even have a source to your claims.

[-] 1 points by MikeLobo (67) 13 years ago
[-] 0 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

maybe you watch fox or listen to alex jones...or your comprehension skills really suck

[-] 1 points by MikeLobo (67) 13 years ago

again no source cited ....

[-] 0 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

well then I don't know what the fuck your problem is....perhaps your daddy rubbed off on you

I'd put my money on daddy and shitty comprehension skills and inability to formulate an independent opinion

[-] 0 points by MikeLobo (67) 13 years ago

Your argument is now invalid as you cannot provide a source for your claims and are now just trolling. I don't feed the trolls goodbye.

[-] 0 points by RationalReaper (188) 13 years ago

Go away kid....ya Bauuuuutheerrrr Mueeeeeee

[-] 0 points by struggleforfreedom80 (6584) 13 years ago

Youre absolutely right. Michael has thru his documentaries and his engagement in OWS from the very beginning helped to make this marvelous movement grow. However hes not the only one. People like Noam Chomsky and Naomi Klein for example, have also contributed to getting people to see through the propaganda. Yours S. http://struggleforfreedom.blogg.no/ http://occupywallst.org/forum/replace-capitalism-with-democracy/
