Try to get as many on the police force to join the strike as possible. if you could get 51% of the cops to call in sick on Nov 2 it would be a major victory. I suspect many cops all over the country agree with the protesters and yet need to keep their jobs. But if they'd just call in sick one day, Nov 2, it'd make quite a statement.
The police are not going to call in sick.
They are making boat loads of overtime because of OWS.
This movement is going to wind up costing the middle class of this country because of all the police overtime in every city.
Police acks as babysitters for OWS adults. It is useless and does not need overtime for OWS at the park.
OWS adults?
There is nothing "adult" regarding this movement. It is being conducted as nothing more than an adolescent temper tantrum.
If the adolescent temper tantrum can make so much noice around the world. The world is very sick.
In a way you are correct. The world is sick.
But, the adolescent temper tantrum is just making noise. Just noise.
It is a curiosity for now. Kind of like MTV's "Jersey Shore" is a curiosity for more people than should be in a sane world.
In fact, MTV is starting a show about the OWS protest starting next month. With MTV's track record, the protest is not going to look very "adult" to the rest of the world. It will solidify the "adolescent" aspect of the whole thing.
The organizers of OWS should be VERY worried about that show.
Maybe Mike "The Situation" can change his moniker to Mike "The Occupation". :)
How many players in "jersey Shore", How many countries watch the shore? There are a lot of players for OWS and watched by billions globally.
