Forum Post: Tax credit

We need a tax system that supports American manufacturers and taxes the companies that move jobs overseas. See the Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=56323631018. It supports giving companies credit for the income tax paid by their employees and recovering the lost tax revenue by increasing the general rate of corporation tax. The effect will be that when companies move jobs overseas they will still have to pay the equivalent of the tax lost by the government from the job being moved overseas. We should also apply an import duty high enough to eliminate the government debt in 8 years. We are in this mess because companies have moved jobs overseas so the new imports should help pay to solve the problem.
