When Stock Traders were blocked from going to work, they responded...don't these people know they are stopping us from going to work and helping to "stimulate the economy".
But it has been stock traders who...for years and years...have profited by screwing over normal innocent people. By gutting retirements and creating complicated financial instruments that were deliberatly designed to be confusing, yet still somehow liberating money from normal people and misleading them as to the real risk.
These are all shenanigans that target regular people who are just trying to make a living. Buying a house should not be the same exercise as gambling in Las Vegas.
But that is how the rich profit. It's immoral, and it destroys communities, but the way this whole thing works is through marketing. Marketers have been changing our values and coopting our culture. Marketers have us convinced we can be a healthy happy human if we don't buy, buy buy. They invent problems and invent insecurities and then sell us on their solutions.
Solutions that are empty and only lead to further insecurity and further needless spending.
I think that Wall Street is worth targeting, but I'm surprised that Madison avenue is not a similar target. It's the ones responsible for the images that we are bombarded with that have skewed people's concept of reality and how they fit into society.
I do not need the latest Iphone to be happy. I do not need to replace what I already own so I can have it on Blue Ray...and replace it again when it comes out in crappy 3D.
All of these products are made in CHINA...and we have all been pawns in the profit machine that does NOT help us become more educated, or have dignified work.
Marketers should be targeted for their complcity with destroying communities, values, and a sense of regional and American Pride.
Take back our images, and our idea of pride in who we are, and what we can be without insane sociopathic and needless spending.
Please understand that huge profits come from getting us to buy things that have the real value gutted, and the product is designed to fall apart thus leading to more spending. Corporations demand and need insane profits to feed Wall Street and there is a cockiness to how much they look down on the consumers, be it the couple buying their first house, or a child who now feels they have to have a cell phone at the age of 8. Corporations don't care, in fact there is a smug feeling of "Sucker" each time we buy something that has a disappearing and limited value. They profit. We Lose. Tee hee. And this can happen because Marketers make this whole snake-oil capitalism seem slick and shiny.
Marketers brand everything, and force us to have that sense of needing to connect with a brand. Facebook friend the Gap, or Starbucks, and can we have your email address?
No thank you.
Let's not forget what unrestrained, and unregulated Marketing has done to our country.
Thanks for your attention.
I'm proud of everyone that is actively working for this movement.

Very good literature here. Thank you!
My wife and I have accumulated a wonderful collection of VHS tapes, (mostly Disney) and we still watch these movies on the VCR and Analog television every day as if we were children.
Dust off the Atari 7200, it's funday Friday!
Heck yes! Although I am too young to have owned an Atari, I have every single Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, and Gameboy game archived in emulator format to play at my every whim.
