you no like options. in soviet Russia, options choose you.

I like options. I appreciate your contributions.

but you don't care, cause you only want what you want. You'll just buy it over and over again if it's in a new package.

I just like to do it right the first time. The best choice is the only choice.

Nice. 4 way division of the movement. That's progress.

Your right, I don't like choice. Choice in America means changing the package and putting a different brand name on it. I hate the tooth paste isle.

blind rebellion. i love it.

but you don't care if it's the same thing. You only want what you want. If your first purchase is bad, you'll will just buy a different one, over and over again, every time it's in a new package, just to express your anger at the first product and find a better alternative.

I just like to do it right the first time. The best choice is the only choice. Why trade a car every year, when you can just buy a car that doesn't fall apart?

Art and choice are something that come from inside of you. Something you create yourself. A choice in T - shirts made in China offers less than 1 T - shit that you can bring to a tailor and have designed especially for you. That's choice.

woooooo. hold on one sec. i'm a minimalist. i don't own anything that doesn't get used almost every day. one, i'm to poor for all that crap. secondly, when i did make good money, it all went to a good standard of living. i also support globalism because it is the only path to true equity. as long as humans are divided, individuals will take advantage of it. i have owned 4 cars in my entire life and i'm 34. so, yeah. blind rebellion.

[-] 1 points by badconduct (550) 13 years ago

So am I. I built this computer. I work hard, especially for over time, and I save a good amount of money each pay.

I don't support globalism because I don't support a unifying system of Government dictating what I should do with my time. I like variety in culture, attitudes and opinions. I support globalization, because I like to see cultures share and blend, and grow from each other as community. It's better to deal with problems regionally, big Government can't be everywhere at once, and sets itself up for failure and corruption.

Hence; divide and conquer. Not unite and conquer.

I'm not much younger than you I've owned 3. I bought one American car, a Sunfire, and it fell into pieces because Americans rebadge the same car and call it "choice", than drive themselves out of business because they forgot to make a "car". I've owned two others after that car broke. The first was an 1986 Porsche 944 that I sold to a friend of mine when I finished school. It was in good shape, and still runs.

The car I am currently rebuilding is a V6, 1984 Nissan 300ZX, not turbo. I have just riveted the floor on recently, I still need to do some fiber glass work. I'll do the work on it myself.

So, no. I'm not a blind rebel. I know exactly what I'm doing, but American Corporations make for a bad choice.

"big Government can't be everywhere at once, and sets itself up for failure and corruption." you forgot, this makes everything sluggish and slows down progress. and this applies to any business as well.

sense i don't see a lot of disagreement, i have to ask, why jump on me?

[-] 1 points by badconduct (550) 13 years ago

I agree. Business shouldn't be big. It takes away from product quality and results in bail outs. Again, GM, perfect example. Spread to thin.

because you said 5 websites that do the same thing is an option. But it's not. It's just 5 people trying to get control of 1 thing. He who controls the forums; controls the opinion.

[-] 0 points by RichardGates (1529) 13 years ago

"He who controls the forums; controls the opinion." exactly why i started mine. not so i could control it, but so one forum doesn't set the narrative for all of us. I am looking for contributors to write. i am only providing the platform, and in a business structure to make it sustainable.

Your forum is an alternative for people who don't like "trolls". But I am a troll, and I like trolls. They make valid counter-opinions and bring up things that people don't want to talk about.

Too me, your forum is completely useless. I am not here to discuss logical points with people who want to sit and agree that our system is broken. That's not proper research. You will end up completely misunderstanding what is happening. Or just wait for some recorded police abuse to exist, and use that to justify a riot and breaking laws.

What's wrong with the economy is more than obvious. Everyone is sitting in tents, out in the cold, waiting for a small handful of people to do all the work that they aren't willing to do.

Did Libya change for the better? No. Kids just need to grow up.

i didn't say i was censoring people. but hey, i like this forum too.
