Good job OWS! However, the 1% are NOT listening! We can all march in the streets until the cows come home, but the 1% and the government they own are not listening and don't care. We need to hit them where it hurts, in the only place the value: right in their bank accounts and stock portfolios.

The holiday season is almost upon us. Black Friday is right around the corner. Many, many corporations garner most of their annual profits through holiday spending. Boycott spending this holiday season! Hit those profit margins and watch them whine! It would bankrupt quite a few corporations. Think what it would do to the stock prices on Wall Street as the 1% watch their value tank! Send the 1% to the poor house!
It's time to remind them that they need us, the 99%, and not the other way around. Before anyone complains it would put more of us 99% out of work, stop and realize the plans of the 1% are for all of us to be out of work and impoverished ANYWAY. The least we can do is take them down with us!

Stay home for the holidays! Vote with your dollars against the corruption that has overtaken our country! Don't transfer more of our wealth into the pockets of the undeserving 1%!

Here a little wisdom for eveyrone. Holidays shouldn't be about commercialism or buying things or even gifts (except for kids from Santa Claus or Hannauka gifts or whatever for kids), they should be about spending quality time with family, loved ones and friends or doing something nice for yourself. Think about that EVERYBODY.

Just choose your targets wisely. Wal-Mart, not the mom and pops. Shop the small stores. Boycott the mega-corporations. That's what a lot of us on this forum have already decided to do.

exactly do all your shopping in your town at stores owned by people who live in your town. Say no to large chains this year, buy local. Resist the temptation to give your hard earned money to the Walton family this year. Say no to Walmart/Sam's Club. Say yes to that cool little store downtown with those interesting locally made products.

Exactly my intentions. For the record, I've been boycotting Wal-Mart and Sam's Club for at least ten years. In fact, I've never shopped either one after doing some on-line research so I can guarantee the Walton family will never see a penny of my hard-earned money. There's plenty of mom and pops that are desperate for our business in every town. Let's do what we can to help them.

Next step for us. Occupy our local, state, and federal governments!! Find out who has accepted corrupt money or has done a poor job of working for us. And replace them with ourselves! This is the most logical and doable thing now.

You will NEVER cause the change I believe you are trying to affect unless you define your premise in ways that everyone can support you and in a way that revolutionary change can occur. Tackle TRUE CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM. Demand laws that state that a politician CANNOT accept or spend ANY contribution that does not come from a citizen that he or she would represent. No PACs...no corporate donations. Even push for a Constitutional Amendment. Everyone would join you on this.

Forget all of this... Walmart is not the problem, our government is the problem.

Now that you've defecated on police cars, blockaded bridges, pushed old ladies down stairs, harassed 4 year olds, pissed in bank branches, laid waste to public parks, and forced small businesses to close, I think there's only one thing left to do: kidnap Santa Claus.

You would only hurt retailers. They are not the bulk of Wall Street.

No one is going to boycott Christmas shopping and give no gifts this year to the people they love in order to appease a small group of commies. A small group of commies who wants to camp, shit, and piss in public parks.

next step? go home, it should be obvious why they don't care. Not shopping will only hurt business and could potentially shut them down. Now, if your movement is to get Jobs for people, this will only destroy jobs at which your so called 99% are employed by
