Forum Post: Suggestion for expanded role for Occupy Albany

Link below is to article from Albany's local paper re Occupy Albany --- the site seems to me to be a natural for becoming the place for some sort of explicit, focused "voice" of the Occupy movement's issues --- i.e., where, for example, something such as a weekly grass roots "Citizen Expectation" ("TAX THE RICH") could be highlighted for state/national consumption --- site is free of conflicts with police, etc. and all the aspects that are allowing inflammatory press and TV to distract from the point of it all --- this is the half of the small park that is city run - the other half is state run and 2016 presidential hopeful Gov Cuomo is arresting any who violate hastily enacted 11:00 p.m. curfew --- I am told he can see the site from his office window across the street --- imagine projecting the message on the wall of the capitol building at night or the trees in the state portion of the park --- check out "Academy Park Albany NY" on GoogleEarth for layout.
