I guess that is the purpose of your "movement"? Demanding things without paying for them? Expecting other people to pay for YOUR wants and needs?
Wrong. The purpose is to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Here's a suggested list:

“Selfish- a judgment readily passed by those who have never tested their own power of sacrifice. ” ― George Eliot
Hey......why not?
It's working well for WallStreet.
Wall Street is "demanding free education"????? You Socialist Drones and your love of "free" things... Do you not comprehend the fact that NOTHING is "free" except the weather elements. And even those aren't truly "free". You have to pay taxes to avoid being locked in a prison where you can't experience them? It totally astonishes me that you sheeple are so full of yourselves to feel that others should pay for what YOU want.
Conservative mantra;People are lazy do not want to work; Do not tax the rich we provide jobs;It is a good thing to spend all middle class tax dollars on defence but please do not ask us to serve in the wars we have created.War is an employment opportunity for the lower classes.Education is a privledge you must work your entire life to repay. If you disagree with me you must be a Socialist,as if that is somthing bad .
WallStreet demands all kinds of things be done for it for free.
What else do you call gambling with everyone's mortgage?
What do think their game of hide the money is all about?
What do you think their game of tax avoidance is all about?
Their CEOs are some of the laziest scum around.
It's an illness................called pleonexia.
They should be tossed in the loony bin.
Mortgages are simple....... You are loaned a large sum of money to buy a home you choose with a PROMISE to pay it back at a certain interest rate over a certain period of time. It is a contract, YOUR CHOICE. You are not FORCED to do this. You are using someone else's money. If you do not pay it back as you promised, the person's money who you used to buy the home, gets the home. It is that simple.
""""What do think their game of hide the money is all about?
What do you think their game of tax avoidance is all about?"""""
HUMAN NATURE... Fix the loopholes. I am sure YOU have done everything you could to pay the least amount in taxes. Or in your case, receive as much of a REFUND as you can.
"""""""Their CEOs are some of the laziest scum around""""
YOU do what it takes to become a CEO and YOU can be "lazy" too. To reach the level of being a CEO must be very easy if they are "lazy", why don't YOU become one? Their being "lazy" does not affect YOU so why do you care about how "lazy" they are.
""""It's an illness................called pleonexia.
They should be tossed in the loony bin""""
So now "loony" people make it rich, never personally having to worry about money in their personal lives ever again while you whine and cry that you don't have enough??? So WHO is "loony"? I am sure someone who is well-adjusted and emotionally stable as yourself, should be far ahead of all those "loons" so you should EASILY be able to get to their level and beyond. Wait, I imagine you will say, "No way would I ever want to be like them or do that. I have a conscience." Well then you must be content with who you are and if you don't want to be a "loon" with a lot of wealth, why are you so upset that they have it and you do not?
As usual you misunderstand.
I NEVER gave WallStreet permission to gamble with my mortgage, which is what they did with the derivatives.
Still are for that matter.
Forced????
Of course you are forced.
You want to live here? You are forced to sign the papers.
I have no way to play hide the money. In fact, that act by "high rollers" IS a symptom of the illness I named for you.
You should look pleonexia up. It's real.
I never said all "rich" people suffer from it, so stop assuming.
Many CEOs, however do exhibit the kinds of obsessive and psychopathic behaviors that are typical of the disease.
There are actual studies, that state it is so.
It's unfortunate that they don't collect old newspapers instead of other peoples money.
Their illness would be less damaging to those around them.
You are one envious person.... You aren't FORCED to sign anything. Nobody FORCES you to buy a home you don't have enough money for. You could save up enough money to buy a home you could afford. Imagine THAT. Who cares if CEOs have "Pleonexia". I don't suffer from it. you don't suffer from it. So why are you so concerned about the mental health of others? Why don't YOU become a CEO and donate most of your earnings to charity? Buy homes for others so they don't make the evil bankers wealthy. Remember, it has to be quite easy seeing that "loony" people do it everyday.
Envious of what???
I'm fine.
Yeah, you are "forced" to buy a home, or some place to live.
It's just a fact.
We can't all live on the streets alone, like you, you know.
So now you endorse illness as long as it makes money?????
You'd make a fine "health care (sic)" executive.
You would find death panels a blast!!!
Is your definition of coercion as narrow as the one you use for force?
"Envious" of people who have more than you.
You aren't FORCED to take out a mortgage, you can pay RENT if you so choose. I guess you feel that should be free also or the landlord should offer it at a price equating to no financial gain?
I live far from what you call the "streets". Actually I sold my home during the bubble and am currently RENTING a very modest place while deciding when to buy again and saving money so I won't have to borrow as much when I decide to buy. I am not entitled to a large home, I must EARN it.
I don't 'endorse" illness, but if CEOs are happy as they are, I am also happy for them.
I'm, still not jealous.
You were "forced" to pay rent.
One doesn't "earn" ones possessions, one purchases them.
You say you don't "endorse" illness, yet then state you are happy for them. Knowing that at least in some cases, they are causing harm to others.
Now that's jealousy.
Then you ignore the definition question.
Strange.
Lay it out in black & white, what is your question?
Scroll on back and look, it's not that far away.
Stranger still.
snooz, thx for keeping us updated with your reporting from the loony bin
No dear. Wall St pays for everything. The bailout you cry about all the time, was all paid back in under 21 months, with a profit of $47 bn at that. And we aren't demanding free housing or free education. We work and earn more than enough to pay for it.
To an "Occupier", you are selfish and greedy then.
ROFL. I made through undergrad with a full scholarship and working odd jobs. Then I paid for my MBA with a loan. I did not demand free education or ask banks to forgive my student loan. And I pay more in taxes than you earn as salary, as yet I am greedy and selfish, is it?
Well you can't be too intelligent for achieving all that success being unable to understand when someone is siding with you against the whiners.
I see. Well, welcome to the club then
advance to what?
I love how the professor uses the term "petition". Apparently the OWS definition of "petition is.. Breaking windows, disrupting traffic, blowing whistles, beating drums, throwing bricks, lighting smoke bombs, overturning cars, spray painting buildings, blocking ports, assaulting cops, getting tear gassed, spreading disease and shitting in buckets.
