What advantage is there to being in the Park at night, weekends or holidays, when there is no media coverage or Wall Streeters to address?
The Winter is going to like it was Washington in Valley Forge, survival first fighting last.
Wouldn't it be better to find Dorms and shelters at night and create a mass inconvenience for Wall Street during commute times? All the Protestors filling buses, subways and cabs converging on Wall Street at the same time? This tactic would be legal to minimize NYPD's reason for involvement.
Its a dirty job but somebody has to do it...
The vast majority of people you would hurt are fellow 99%ers trying to do an honest days work. Not a good way to gain support for the movement.
Good point. Would converging before and after commute hours work? I am concerned about the welfare of the protestors during NY's winter. Camping in the Park has more downsides since it is a private park, public park would be desirable of course if there was one.
They make sleeping bags good for as low as -50, which is obviously much lower than it gets in NYC.
