I think everyone can agree to this. Ignore the people who are here to provoke anger in others that lead to deterioration of the movement by manipulating our thoughts. Simply ignore them and be on your way, don't feed into it. Stick to it and OWS will continue to strive!

Exactly.

Whenever I see they open a new topic, I jump bump a bunch of genuine topic.

Is quite funny to see their angry topic ignored and disappeared to the underside of the page.

Need help making a t-shirt. We need to draw a picture of Zooccotti Park with a cage around it. Here are some ideas: Draw a hippie climbing the cage like a monkey and throwing shit.
Draw a hippie rolling in mud and shit like a pig.
Draw a hippies fucking like dogs.
Draw a picture of a hippie eating peanuts like a big fucking elephant. Draw a hippie as a lazy fucking Ape doing nothing.

Strange how a group that prides itself in having an infinite range of ideas attached to itself can also manage to pull off some cognitive dissonance by ignoring dissenting opinions.

"Ignore the people who are here to provoke anger"

That's something else than differing ideas. And ignoring people who are out to provoke anger is also just one amongst many ideas.

So stop whining.

what does 'pull of some cognitive dissonance' mean? Is it like magnetic attraction? The pull of the opposing poles, the pull of some (quantity of) cognitive dissonance...
