You guys look like fucking idiots and children and the media is featuring it more than any actual cause. You are handing the media this shit on a silver platter.

You can't teenagers to come dressed like adults. We never expected the media to be on the side of the people.

Yes, no one expects the media to be on the side of the people. They're as owned by Wall Street as are our politicians, hence why I've been calling for the occupation of the major news networks instead of marching to Wall Street twice a day. That, however, doesn't mean you should help their message and ability to paint this as causeless, immature and only pissed off students. Those mistakes were made in droves in the 1960's.

And just because zombies are an easy go-to for the young doesn't justify it, and if the attention was to garner media attention, well, that's just downright stupid. Hey, let's get the medias attention by looking like idiots, people will really listen to us then! Come on.

How long until we get people dressing up as Harry Potter and playing quidditch on Wall Street. Maybe we can all dress us vampires too, that will show the 1%!

Zombies are an easy go-to for our age and society. It was an interesting publicity stunt to continue receiving media coverage, but it cannot be a main protesting stance of Occupy. This is a serious situation that needs to be addressed with professionalism and dedication. Of course, a few smiles and a pleasant mist of humor is never a bad thing to have around for the long term :)

I like the zombies and the visual metaphor but we need to communicate with the broad citizenry through clear language and precise framing. Read your George Lakeoff people!

Agreed. If you are serious about this you'll make the changes with experienced people.
