Stand with Walmart workers!
Where: Secaucus Walmart, 400 Park Pl, Secaucus, New Jersey 07094
For decades, Walmart has been dragging down wages, forcing their workers to accept irregular hours, and intimidating and punishing workers who try to stand up for themselves.
It’s time for the retribution to end, and for Walmart workers to be paid a decent wage!
This Black Friday, on the biggest shopping day of the year, we’ll be standing with Walmart workers across the country, demanding a real wage of 25,000 / year and an end to retaliation against those who bravely speak out for better working conditions.
The action will begin at noon and will wrap no later than 2pm, and we’re chartering buses for people traveling from NYC.
Join us! Bring friends, co-workers, family members, neighbors… the more the merrier! It promises to be a great (and historic!) day.
**PLEASE REGISTER HERE: https://actionnetwork.org/events/black-friday-action.
Once you register, you will be directed to a form that you can fill out if you want a seat on buses from NY to NJ – leaving at 11am.
MASS TRANSIT: You can take NJ Transit to the store location; the store is a 20 minute ride from Port Authority at 42nd and 8th Ave. Take the 320 bus. Buses leave about every twenty minutes. Buy a ticket (about $4 one way) and tell the bus driver you’re going to Walmart, You’ll be dropped off in the Walmart parking lot next the meetup point.

Walmart is the poster child for retail businesses on what is wrong with this country, so
Unless something unforseen happens, I'll be at Walmarts on Black Friday.

Boycott Wally World!
Please don't do this. It's an eyesore by people who don't understand business and have no jobs, lives, families, or intelligence.
Are you not sick of having to subsidize Walmart's employees? Your taxes pay the externalities caused by Walmart not willing to pay their employees a living wage. Until the minimum wage is increased higher than inflation has eroded the purchasing power of the working class, those who make middle class wages and above, will be called apon to subsidize minimum wage earners' cost of living. There is a price paid for cheap consumer goods. That price is higher taxes.
