Corporate power -- the owners -- will do everything that can to maintain the status quo and the power structure in which benefit from.

Just saw a blog on Huffington Post calling the movement a "parody of a protest" and saying it was only a "hippie" event with a silly hippie message. This kind of rhetoric delegitimizes the movement even though the movement is fueled by legitimate concerns and demands. So... in short, I encourage everyone to have a list of concrete goals when the media (or anyone) asks the "WHY protest" question. I, personally, suggest not framing the movement with "big" polarizing ideas like anti-Capitalism (which can be amorphous and also turn-off some audience members). I've tried to compile a few concrete, politically achievable issues anyone could use to get a discussion started: http://actnowplan.wordpress.com Use these if you like them, if not, find your own. But I think clear and concrete is the key to avoiding the "hippie" charge.

Remember, Even Jesus could not get away with throwing out the "moneychangers". Point being--- one voice will not be enough. "We the People" is the only answer.

True, they are going to try to twist, label, ridicule, and spin the movement.
