Abolish the electoral college - the weighting of votes gives disproportionate power to rural, underpopulated states and away from urban areas, where the vast majority of the population actually lives.

Expand the size of the House by four hundred members - the House is statutorily capped at 435, meaning that, as the population rises, a Representative is increasingly distant from his constituents. A smaller number of representatives also makes it much easier for interest groups to buy votes. Ideally, I would like to see the House expanded even more than I indicated, but practicalities are practicalities.

Mandate that an apolitical commission draw electoral borders. This is basic common sense - the process of gerrymandering is disgusting and anti-democratic.

Restrict campaign donations to elections in which the donor can actually vote (this would require a constitutional amendment).
