The Occupy/99% Movement faces a legitimate problem. The symptoms seem to stem primarily from corporate dominance of the system, so let’s call it the Corporate Dominance problem.
Wouldn’t it be nice if our movement succeeded? Most don’t. They draw a bit of press, raise a ruckus at first, and then slide into oblivion over the weeks, months, or years.
So how can we ensure that we succeed? What might happen if we used the same tool that business uses to solve its problems?
The tool is analysis. Once we’ve analyzed the Corporate Dominance problem, our disagreements on what to do should reduce because we can see where our efforts are best directed. We will have a shared explanation of what the problem is, why it’s happening, and what the solutions are that have the best chance of success. Our goals, strategies, and tactics should become clear.
See this link for a peek at such an analysis: http://www.thwink.org/sustain2/articles/016/CorporateDominanceLoop.htm
Will something like this make the 99% Movement a success instead of just another historical footnote?
Thanks,

Ronjj - Thanks. I don't quite understand your point. How does the page at http://www.thwink.org/sustain2/articles/016/CorporateDominanceLoop.htm set its sight on the CEO of any or all corporations?
As I have asked repeatedly and have stated bluntly - if everyone has their mind and sight set on the CEO of any or all corporations, you are doing exactly what the corporation expects. The CEO is the big bad guy in your sight of vision and takes the heat off the rest of the players. That CEO may even get a big, publicly noted bonus, for taking that heat, although it is not the recognized or even logical reason for the bonus.
To those who are overly angry at the system, who have that ring in their nose and are being led around with it, and are fully espousing what they have identified as the PROBLEM, you are doing exactly what the corporation whats you to do.
And YES, OWS will continue to loose support as you prove your problem solving skills inept, to put it politely.
