Here's two obvious question most people overlook: Who owns the social media companies? Who runs the infrastructure for the internet?

social media is pretty much nothing much in itself. It facilitates. the internet, overall, gives access to intelligent people and places to be with them. that said, no amount of ink online has moved us till bodies got out on the street, and not just on a nine to five Day of Protest. The youth will have to keep their bodies out there and add to them and everyone with a conscience will have to join them in investing in this movement, however possible, as much as possible.

It is a long tough slog.

If social media owners get turned against us and shut us out, then we will get out there without them, like in the 60s. We will push back at them.

For now, they are a useful tool. If managed well, in balance with offline reality.
