  1. Eliminate the Electoral College.

  2. Hold a Recall Election with campaign finance reform:

  3. Hold a Constitutional Convention.

  4. Reconstruct both Federal and State Governments to reflect the United States of America: 50 states, with 50 economies, and 50 governments.

  5. Fire the Federal Reserve Board

  6. Gather team of economists to reconstruct the banking industry: get rid of those who are too big to fail.

  7. Gather a team of economists to reconstruct the healthcare industry: Universal healthcare.

  8. Gather a team of social engineers to meet until World Peace is achieved.

Agreed, "awareness is one thing...proposed solutions" are another, so how about we start the war against Injustice by starting our own banks to double the income of the Bottom 99% of Workers, for many more people will come to your side when you are proactive (for “new” Business & Government solutions), instead of reactive (against “old” Business & Government solutions), which is why what we most immediately need is a comprehensive “new” strategy that implements all our various socioeconomic demands at the same time, regardless of party, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 1% Management System of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves, and thus doubling our income from Bank Profits which are 40% of all Corporate Profits; that is, using a Focused Direct Democracy organized according to our current Occupations & Generations. Consequently, I have posted a 1-page Summary of the Strategically Weighted Policies, Organizational Operating Structures, and Tactical Investment Procedures necessary to do this at:

http://getsatisfaction.com/americanselect/topics/on_strategically_weighted_policies_organizational_operating_structures_tactical_investment_procedures-448eo

Join http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/StrategicInternationalSystems/ because we need 100,000 “support clicks” at AmericansElect.org in support of the above bank-focused platform.

Most importantly, remember, as cited in the first link, that as Bank Owner-Voters in your 1 of 48 "new" Business Investment Groups (or "new" Congressional Committees) you become the "new" Online Congress, and related “new” Businesses, REPLACING the "old" Congress, and related “old” Businesses, according to your current Occupations & Generations, called a Focused Direct Democracy.

Therefore, any Candidate (or Leader) therein, regardless of party, is a straw man, a puppet, a political opportunist, just like today; what's important is the STRATEGY – the sequence of steps – that the people organize themselves under in Military Internet Formation of their Individual Purchasing Power & Group Investment Power. In this, sequence is key, and if the correct mathematical sequence is followed then it results in doubling the income of the Bottom 99% of Workers from today's Bank Profits, which are 40% of all Corporate Profits.

Why? Because there are Natural Social Laws – in mathematical sequence – that are just like Natural Physical Laws, such as the Law of Gravity. You must follow those Natural Social Laws or the result will be Injustice, War, etc.

The FIRST step in Natural Social Law is to CONTROL the Banks as Bank Owner-Voters. If you do not, you will inevitably be UNJUSTLY EXPLOITED by the Top 1% Management System of Business & Government who have a Legitimate Profit Motive, just like you, to do so.

Consequently, you have no choice but to become Candidates (or Leaders) yourselves as Bank Owner-Voters according to your current Occupations & Generations.

So JOIN the 2nd link, and spread the word, so we can make 100,000 support clicks at AmericansElect.org when called for, at exactly the right time, by an e-mail from that group, in support of the above the bank-focused platform. If so, then you will see and feel how your goals can be accomplished within the above strategy as a “new” Candidate (or Leader) of your current Occupation & Generation.

I think we should concentrate on the things people actually need like fresh food, pure water, a living environment and healthy relationships rather than be distracted by money or jobs.

What do we do about the current problems of the country like debt?

[-] 1 points by Glucid (3) 13 years ago

Rastafari American is that the official position?

[-] 1 points by Glucid (3) 13 years ago

That's good but does the movement have any official position? or is it just awareness?

I'm not an economist, politician or president, how should I know? How about starting by taxing big companies who send their money and business abroad to avoid taxes? How about the control of lobbyists? How about some business ethics?

I don't speak for every one, I'm sure some will disagree, but that's what I've recently been thinking about.

they'll simply take their entire business abroad.... they're not tied to America.... be careful you don't relegate America to a third world nation because of a punitive tax environment. remember in the end it is the consumer who pays all taxes...corporations just act as the middle man.....

Special interest groups fund both political parties, why would they give them up? Only congress can pass legislation....

[-] 1 points by LastWaltz (115) from Medford, NY 13 years ago

Congress represents the people- if they're passing legislation that is against the majority it's like blatant failure at their job as civil servants.

[-] 1 points by ChicagoT (54) 13 years ago

"Blatant failure at their job as civil servants" isn't in the politician's lexicon... they see their job as staying in their job.... using people, taxes and special interest groups to accomplish that is what they do....

[-] 1 points by LastWaltz (115) from Medford, NY 13 years ago

Well, I mean. That's why I'm doing this...

[-] 1 points by ChicagoT (54) 13 years ago

That's what we're all here for, I hope.... change has got to start at the top... the 546 members of the Royal American Family....

The questions is.. if they're in control how do we get them to change?... don't know that yet...

[-] 1 points by LastWaltz (115) from Medford, NY 13 years ago

Punitive? Hardly: I want them to pay the taxes required for doing business in our country and many companies don't. GE didn't pay millions of taxes last year.

Companies already negatively impact the cash flow into and out of the United states- using overseas subsidiaries to get tax breaks. US companies buy a company then sell them to overseas to a different company that they control- paying themselves whatever they want, in untraceable cash, and it isn't taxed by the IRS- completely legal way to move money into the US.

lastWaltz... very good point... it's a global economy... the U.S. can not regulate what happens outside the the U.S..... Companies are very mobile.... they can change countries... the size of the U.S. market is declining as India and China modernize... there is less and less incentive to stay American based... While we try to fix America, we have to also be aware that the "rich" (corporate or individual) are not captive...

[-] 1 points by LastWaltz (115) from Medford, NY 13 years ago

It doesn't make too much of a difference now. Regulation to control variations in our economy. Families, small business, they can't pick up and move to Bermuda when they're sick of taxes. I'm looking into Dodd-Frank- which is being held up and re-designed by by business lobbyists as we speak.
