The "Other side" is corruption in general; government, media, individuals, and corporations. That is the one thing we all agree upon and are trying to unite to combat.

Sadly, all the talking heads have been pretty successful at using social and political differences to keep people from uniting.

I don't know if they do it out of spite, ignorance or for personal gain. But they've been pretty successful.

The movement is growing and that is a good sign, however the majority seems to be pretty liberal. I encourage conservatives to join the movement since we too have legitimate grievances with corruption.

Like it or not, this movement is going to be what shapes the future of the United States, so why not come and let your voice and ideas be part of it?

If we have one demand it has to: be Amend the Constitution for government ONLY financing of elections, no contributions, from anyone; rendering Citizens United a moot point.

Sorry lost the link.. It came over the bloomberg app this morning. What do you think of this?

This is more primal than that. They don't control the message. They're not controlling us. Sorry still working this out:

Our one demand, as I believe that is all we can afford has to be: Amend the Constitution for government ONLY financing of elections, no contributions, from anyone; rendering Citizens United a moot point. It’s the only piece of this that resonates with the anti-establishment left, the anti-establishment right and everyone in between. Including many who make 350k+ believe me its great to make that kind of money but that doesn't mean you want to spend it on some one's (or even your own) campaign where the mega-corps and uber-unions are going to drown you out anyway. The shear fear of this movement uniting and growing, immune to their false discourse would so scare the shit out of them they'd probably start proactively trying to appease us. Wouldn't that be nice? Oh, and its spin-proof. The logical contortions involved in trying to spin this would only push people to us.

They're certainly trying a lot of bullshit artistry now, and even direct propaganda attack, ergo the flood of trolls. Then there's been attempts to 'own' the movement, ergo the god damned vote harvesters claiming that Occupy supports this politician or another, or should.

Fuck 'em. I feel the movement as a whole ain't falling for that shit. It's merely a sign that the kleptocrats are shitting their pants.

I Agree. That's why I really think we can't afford more than this one thing. Its hard to distort, divide, or misrepresent.

assuming not shaking hands mean a war without end ?
