"The 20 something generation had no part in this mess and have every right to demand change and make a scene."

Exactly, youths are not culpable. Youths were patient-- until things got out of hand.

40 something here. I am all grown up and ashamed to say it was my generation and the one before me that F'd up your country. The greed got out of control and the rest of us were complacent. What can I say, its the truth.

The 20 something generation had no part in this mess and have every right to demand change and make a scene.

Yes, the fat Cheney from WY is quite smug-- not to mention an incorrigible liar.

It's nice to be smug with a full belly ain't it?

And this guy is in Teton Village, WY. Wyoming gets plenty of govt funding-- as Alaska does.

Think about how disingenuous those who say they hate statism but want the state to help their families. And they are silly because they think we don't know of their duplicity.

Ah, I am grown up, with 3 grown children. And, yes, after today my back hurts, my feet hurt. I am hoping that my grandchildren will have a government that works for them and not the corporations.

Protests can change reality:
We are no longer fighting in Vietnam. India is no longer part of the British Empire.

"It was in the toilet, now look at it: close to perfect."

It went into the toilet three years ago, before the election that year, the damage was done before Obama even ran for president.

"Obama saved this country. It was in the toilet, now look at it: close to perfect."

What is Obama supposed to do? cease being uppity and go back to Chi-town

As a 20-something, my favorite part is when my peers suddenly realize what life is about and how they will need to be working for 30, maybe even 40 years. You know, that moment when it suddenly clicks. That they realize they aren't kids anymore and have to mature, grow up. I can't wait to see it happen to these people. I can't wait to see when they realize you can't change the underlining currents of economics.

Good citizens unlike the congenital liar Dick Cheney. Go write comments at National Review, they need your smarm; you can write about Reagan, even though he was president almost a generation ago- and his presidency is now ancient history. Go live in the past, that is where you belong; get all misty-eyed for the Founding Fathers, who lived a far different life than we live today.

And above all, elect another opportunist, such as Bush, who will conserve nothing save for a dynasty. Knock yourself out.
