Hey all, Just finished my short documentary on Occupy Newfoundland, which is a branch of the Occupy movement located on the east coast of Canada. For those who don't know, Occupy Newfoundland is the last remaining recognized Occupy camp in Canada. Check it out, feedback is much appreciated!
Thanks!

The debate has been whether or not Occupy Newfoundland's friendly relationship with the city/police department is a good thing or a bad thing. Some people feel that if you're not causing the city grief, than you're not doing your job as a protestor. I feel they are doing a great thing by activing civilized and existing peacefully, as it has allowed them to remain open and spread their message longer than most camps.
That's awesome, makes you wonder why the vicious crackdowns in other places.
f-f-f-first!
I don't think your doing your job if the city supports you... thats not what protestors do
If the city loves them, are they really doing their job as protestors?
Occupy Newfoundland - An Exemplar?
You Bet!
This is what is possible where the government is not afraid of its people.
This is what is possible when the Peace Officers ( police ) actually work to maintain peace instead of support the status-quo blindly.
This is how legal protest should be conducted by both sides.
Rock-on Newfoundland !!!!!!!!!!!!
