Dear Mayor Bloomburg and Police Commissioner Kelly, Will you be remembered by history as the “Bull Connors” of the Occupy movement? While his crime against humanity was racism, if you “clean the park,” yours will be class warfare. Think about your actions and how they will be regarded by history. You, sirs, have a choice. If you have no regard for the democracy that is happening in America’s back yard, then stop to consider how you wish to be remembered by the entire planet. Because this is not just a movement. It is an awakening. SnowDancer
It's a city park, not a campground for unemployed hippies. The park rules (drafted long ago) are clear about prohibited activities. Police are kicking the miscreants out tomorrow morning. Good riddance. No one is above the law.
Wrong..New rules. And see plenty of people in this country who are above the law, that's what brought us here in the first place.
Nope, they are old rules. You can't just go pitch a tent in Central Park. And you can't do it in Zuccotti Park either. Been in the rules forever.
Where did you submit that to? Can you give out the email address or web site so we can all go there and write? If so, let's remember to keep our message intelligent and respectful! :) Your's is good, SnowDancer!
