Senator Lieberman says OWS needs to organize and back candidates to be effective. I don't agree but wanted to open it up for discussion.
I hope people occupy both the RNC and DNC, this will give thought to the elections and hope for the future.
Interesting idea. OccupyDNC headquarters and OccupyRNC hq. My only worry is that the people who go to DNC will be all the anti-obama types, while the opposite will happen at the RNC?
But if we could have an on-message no-money-in-politics sit-in at these locations the message would be powerful.
I hope people occupy both the RNC and DNC, this will give thought to the elections and hope for the future.
Obama plans to address/hijack the OWS movement on his upcoming bus tour. They were just talking about it on MSNBC.
He is a dirty rotten back stabbing SOB.
I don't give anything he says any credence what so ever.
We will be much better off if we launched an effort to get him out of office
That seems a little extreme, why do you say so
So he starts out as a Dem, compromises his principles and becomes an independent.
Then he runs as McCains VP choice on the GOP ticket.
He is nothing but a guy that turns every tie the wind blows.
Him and McCain went to Egypt and were calling for US Military Intervention during the "Arab Spring"
He is just talking shit, he will do what every he thinks people will believe and vote for him, he can not be trusted.
Perhaps he was tired of being in one of the two parties, or sacrificing his morals to follow a party leader McCain is a pretty moderate republican, though it was not Lieberman who ran as his running mate. It was Sarah Palin, though I think he probably would have done better with LIeberman as his running mate.
Has McCain voted yes on any Dem Sponsored legislation since Obama has been in office?
I am just asking? If so what bill specifically, any jobs bills?
There's so many to review. Heres a site for McCain's voting records http://www.votesmart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=53270
It was Palin the last election but Liberman the election before that.
You don't know what your talking about.
Sorry didn't remember him running 11 years ago. Though look at this quote, it seemed really interesting and relevant to OWS...
McCain in his 2000 presidential campaign said he was staging "a fight to take our government back from the power brokers and special interests, and return it to the people and the noble cause of freedom it was created to serve"

He and McCain are pro war, for what?
McCain wanted Lieberman for his running mate but was talked out of it. I think that is creating some confusion. He's been on both sides.
He is correct... using the "I do not accept SuperPAC or $ from any Banks or Wall Street traded firms" and then directly confronting anyone who does accept their money.. with "who do you want to work for? Wall Street or the people? this makes sense and would shake the "K STREET CARTELS" and all of the Drug Lord LOBBYISTS to their knees... it only makes sense but do we know a candidate that cannot be bought?? that is the rub!
