Yesterday every billionaire loving Senate republican voted against legislation to create 2-4 million jobs. Think of ways to punish these republicans who kill jobs.

Don't the Democrats control the Senate? And the House wanted to vote on it a while back, but Obama had to say no because he doesn't have enough support from his own party.

Yes, the Democrats control the Senate and the Republicans control the House. It was never going to be passed in the House and didn't even have a democratic sponsor of the bill. However, over in the democrat controlled senate, Harry Reid D) kept the bill from coming up for a vote. Mich McConnell (R) asked that it be brought up for an immediate vote, but that was shot down because too many dems would have voted against it. The bill was modified in such a way as to insure that almost all dems would vote for it and all republicans against it. And the rest is history.

Government can only creat jobs through war so was it really a big loss. The private sector creats jobs but most everyone here is oblivious to the facts that are coming through on this forum.

there's no reason the government could not create peaceful jobs

How do you figure we live in a police state government that thrives on a industrial military complex. Besides it isn't the government's place to create jobs. Why does everyone on here need the government to be the solution? It is the very reason everyone is fucked.

@mikelobo & @ schnitzelfrits & @ Matt-Holck......You all seem like smart and passionate people. the problem is the system and the solution is in the system. The system is not a person. What we need is for people who think differently like the three of you to find a better way through your opposition. Tear the system apart from ALL angles NOT just a conservative or Liberal angle. Great smart minds from both sides. No name calling, just an arduous debate aimed at the eventual common good we all want. Thank you for your input and thank you for caring about America. All of you.

The Senate didn't need their vote to pass that bill.

Lol - me too! OMG. It didn't pass? Wait, these are supposed to be the 'job creators' I thought? Oh wait I forgot they only create jobs if they are in China. We can't live without the great mighty 'job creators' of our country. Anyone supporting this kind of GOP thinking and not making a million or more please know this - for every dollar you pay in tax could, some mega-millionaire is paying 50 cents. Your tax could greatly be reduced one day if we could get the same rates from the rich and do some real job creation, but expecting them to pay the same rate is 'STEALING'.
