Gov. Walker, cohort of the fabulous libe(R)tarian Koch brothers, isn't happy with placing his State among the lowest in new job creation( ALEC gave him an award for that ), has decided to sell of as much of the commons as he can.

You know, the kinds of things tax payers and donors created?

http://wepartypatriots.com/wp/2013/06/14/wi-gov-walker-to-sell-off-highways-prisons-and-university-buildings-paid-for-by-students-and-donors/

The march of the libe(R)topians continues, unabated.

ALEC

Destroying Democracy, one State at a time.

Libertopians are swell, aren't they?

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Yeah, but we're not supposed to notice, discuss, or even post their actions for some odd reason.

We're expected to be as obsessed with our local puppet master, as he is with himself and his posse.

PFFFFTTT!

He can go puck a rubber.

I keep posting news as I find it.

[-] 3 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Ya, but it's ok to write a wall o' shit that doesn't say anything. I mean because that is cool as hell.

It doesn’t take political affiliation to understand the consequences of selling off assets for short-term gain. To boot, Walker wants to go the “no-bid” contract route to avoid scrutiny during the process.

Hahahahahahaahahahaha.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

That wall of shit, is all they're capable of creating.

It's all they've ever created here.

Walkers legacy is something they won't touch with a ten foot pole, but don't let a liberal step out of line, or there will half a dozen threads in an instant.

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

It's a game. And Walker's little plan has failed in other states and cities. But, hey don't fight it or discuss it. You know what would save it? Ghetto gardens with some chickens.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

I'm sure we could find find them some cheap land in Chicago and Detroit, for them to test out their aquaponic solution.....................:)

My guess is they're too damn chicken shit for that. They want to tell someone else to do it.

They would learn far too quickly, that it's not a one size fits all kind of thing.

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Yep. Real cheap. But, they are going to need to get the soil tested for pollution as well for finding out what type of soil they have in each given area and/or import it. Or build green houses. I know a whole shlew of people that would be happy if the slum lord would just fix the damn plumbing.

Walk in play director and walk out. But? But? I brought you the pamphlet that said we were your saviors. It might be funny though. Someone walks up to a woman with four kids and three jobs to discuss how to raise food and become self sufficient and the like.

Parts are good but they have to get in there and deal with local politics, the land that is available. That's not even the tip of the iceberg. It's much.

"University officials are questioning the tactics and labeling them as haphazard. Sheldon Lubar, a prolific university donor who formerly served on the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents, questioned Walker’s proposal:

“I think it’s foolish, mindless and will have a very chilling effect on fundraising.”

He added, “I really don’t think [Walker] thought this through and understands the negative impact this would have on the university.”"

He and the Koch's know very well, that it's a very big step towards privatized, profiteered control of consumer education.

I wonder if they will be offering free aquaponics agriculture for inner city residents?

I agree Walker did think it through. I would lay money that Walker has a nice job with the University when he is done playing mouthpiece for the Koch heads. In fact, I would say that he has already lined that up. They repeat the mantra of universities are liberal so that they can keep the obedient minions in line. The reality is there are few liberal universities and you get a grab bag of professors that you win for a semester or two. Yeah, fundraising? Not from most of the regular everyday people. They aren't finished making sure that education is reserved for the elite.

We shifted from an agrarian society which means that it isn't that people don't work. It means that people work with their minds more than they do with their bodies. We still have labor intensive fields.

But, ya, free classes. The land is driven down so that someone can walk in and purchase it for gentrification or other. And you don't wanna? There is eminent domain. Where is the nearest landfill? Sometimes it is designed to be placed nearest the poorest people and there is denial of problems even though there is evidence of pollution and disease. Old car washes? Ya.

the fascist Corporatists continue their march....

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

What??

You can't say libe(R)tarian either?

Because that's who's doing it.....libe(R)tarians.

Ayn Rand style, if you insist, but libe(R)tarians just the same.

[-] 1 points by BradB (2693) from Washington, DC 11 years ago

shooz.... how are the Ayn Rand-ers any different from the Corporatists ?..... they are Corporatists

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

I'm in far too much pain to type out any long explanation, so I'll put it this way.

A corporatist, isn't necessarily a libe(R)tarian, but Randians are all libe(R)tarian, corporatists.

[-] 2 points by BradB (2693) from Washington, DC 11 years ago

hmmm.... thats confusing.... but i'm sure i will understand it tommorrow.... why pain ?

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

I'm sure it will.

I've had a pinched nerve in my neck for a few weeks now.

Sometimes.......it makes me grumpy........................:)

You can ask around.

Tell Gov..Walker to call Texas Gov. Rick Perry. Perry is a jerk in a lot of ways, but he knows how to create jobs and maintain a strong State economy. He did all this without raising taxes.

Perry hurt a lot of people with his ruthless, arrogant, style as governor. But in the end Texas came out ahead in jobs and economy. People are moving to Texas in herds for jobs and lower taxes. All Walker needs to do is not wimp out to other people's agenda.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Sorry, but the US doesn't need ANY more minimum wage jobs.

It need more good paying union jobs with on the job safety, very much unlike Texas.

Please stop blowing the Texas, Rick Perry horn.

It's not helpful.

[-] -2 points by Narley (272) 11 years ago

Hey, just trying to help Gov. Walker. When Wisconsin’s economy is going down the toilet he could use some help. I’m serious when I say it’s time to bring in the big guns. In this situation Perry is the best man for the job.

And, No, I’m not a big Rick Perry fan. Never voted for him. But I give credit where credit is due. He is absolutely ruthless when it comes to fixing a State level economy. He is hated as much as he is loved in Texas.

There's no deserts to live in up here.

Gotta have heat, water, transportation, AC.

I'm not going to start this bullshit argument over with you.

You whined and cried over every link I posted......so Pfffttt!

Just know this.

Perry is an ass, who's done the people Texas no favors.
