Ads come with the CSE, and are unavoidable in the free version.

The revenue goes to my account (I have other websites), and I resolved to channel it back to OWS when it reaches any meaningful size.

As of right now, the revenue from those ads is $0.20 (twenty cents)

You can also just go to Google and type:

followed by search terms. But it's good to have a page for it.
