A percentage cap on sales profit between all points of buy and sell will create a rising tide within the entire economy, refloating all grounded vessels; Greece, Europe , USA, everyone will recover with a cap on profits. It truly is a "Silver Bullet"

Forum Post: If we would cap sales profit the working man would only have to work 25-30 hrs per week.

Because of unfettered high sales profits the working man is forced to work many many hours. Working most of his life away.

High sales profits strips the working man of his freedom.

Put a cap on earnings like they did in the 1950's (which was the most prosperous time in US history for middle America).

Tax all earnings over $750,000 at a rate of 94%.

There is no such thing as a "silver bullet".

Yes , if you consider retailers/ middlemen to be the vampires of society sucking the life blood out of the economy. And the cap would be the silver bullet. Or should that be wooden stake !

Then you are saying price controls on everything at every level. Price controls don't work.

Price controls are different.

A cap on sales profit does not control the final price.
