RT News has caught both CNN and FOX airing reports of "violent protests against corrupt elections" in Russia and Eastern European countries. Problem: On Fox the videos were Athens not Russia. And the CNN channel aired videos of soccer fans, not riots against election corruption. (Maybe the CNN crew never heard of "footie" and got confused.)
This is not the first time mass media has been caught using videos to lie. Back in 2010 MSNBC was caught airing footage of a "white man carrying a gun who might be racist and might kill the president." Problem: The man was BLACK not white. They had edited the video to make him appear white.
Both CNN and FOX later apologized for their "sloppy" reporting (I'd call it corporate-sponsored propaganda). In another video RT discusses how Fox, CNN, and MSNBC encourage ignorance of their viewers by showing story-after-story about Christmas shopping, instead of actual world news.

The documentary below shows other examples of FOX/CNN lies and management of viewer's opinion.

RT perhaps lies and hides facts. But CNN and FOX do it much more. Most media lie and hide facts. That is where democracy is in 2012. Nowhere.
The stations I watch most are RT.com, France 24, and a little bit of NHK (japanese network). The first two I can stream while at work, to keep myself from getting bored.
It's interesting to hear NBC and FOX slamming RT over-and-over..... probably because they know RT covers stories that the U.S. corporate media ignores.
Just look @ occupyMoscow live stream and you will see RT news are liars too !
Still RT news are not interviewing protesters and are reporting outside of protest area. Maybe officials are still dictating what lines RT cannot pass. I would love to know!

That's great, RT and Democracy Now are the only sources I go to for REAL news. I hope they keep doing these stories on the main stream media.
