This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Ron.Paul is a LIAR!!!

On this Youtube clip Ron.Paul is heard saying that he voted AGAINST the repeal of Glass-Steagall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIC8E9Q2pTs

But the official roll call vote of the 1999 law, S-900 The Financial Services Modernization Act, that repealed Glass-Steagall has the duplicitous coward Ron.Paul abstaining from voting.

Ron.Paul is a good guy. He is one of the few on the side of 99%. Didn't you read his book? Saying bad stuff about Ron.Paul on an Occupy site is not appropriate, and your comments are out of context and misleading.

The roll call link looks legitimate to me.

Bullshit!

Denunciation is not rebuttal. It is the fetid effluent of a butt head.

The truth is not "bad stuff". Nor is it inappropriate.

OK - so here is your logic - Ron.Paul does 1000 good things, does a few things that maybe be bad, and now he is a bad guy. Are you perfect? I am not perfect, but I do a lot more good than bad. And so does Ron.Paul, that is why your comments are out of context.

Typical right-wing false argument. You have to restate and misrepresent my position to make your argument.

I am not interested in running around in circles with you libertarians.

If that is true, it as well as a no vote for NDAA, is pathetic, and if you judge by voting actions, rather than rhetoric, you'll get what you choose. BTW, I am not at this point supportive of any dem or rep for president.

According to title, he did vote against it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIC8E9Q2pTs

Some of Paul’s 11-page Plan to Restore America :

eliminating the Education Department
while China doubles its education budget ...............go Ronnie go!
eliminating the Energy Departments
nuclear power plants are safe aren’t they? ..................go Ronnie go!
Environmental Protection Agency would see a 30 percent cut
we don’t need clean air – corporations can sell it to us ........go Ronnie go!
Food and Drug Administration would see a 40 percent cut
You do know how to test your drugs - right ? ..………. go Ronnie go!
foreign aid would be zeroed out immediately
skyrocketing AIDS in Africa,
..........and goodbye to the only mid-east democracy
............ go Ronnie go!

Paul was asked by Wolf Blitzer on how eliminating about 221,000 government jobs across five cabinet departments would boost the economy. He responded: “They’re not productive jobs, You cut government spending, that money goes back to you. You get to spend the money.”
Ronnie, W..H..O......I..S.......Y..O..U.....???

Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, food stamps, family support programs and the children’s nutrition program would be block-granted to the states
enabling states to cut back like they did on voting hours and collective bargaining.
The campaign says that the plan “honors our promise to our seniors and veterans, while allowing young workers to opt out.” – to gamble with their retirement funds

. ……………THE BEST THIRD PARTY CANDIDATE FOR THEM =
.....................................................

On a lighter note, Paul wants you to have the right to die from drinking milk – despite the recognition of many potentially deadly raw milk pathogens, such as E. coli O157:H7, Listeria, and Salmonella, and their presence in milk products has led to pasteurization. The Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and other health agencies of the United States strongly recommend that the public do not consume raw milk or raw milk products. Young children, the elderly, people with weakened immune systems, and pregnant women are particularly susceptible to infections originating in raw milk. No one dies of food poisoning - do you want to try?

The evil diminutive troll king, luoPnoR, is for almost everything I am against. He is against almost everything that I am for.

I really like your rare and very cogent image of the evil troll king.

Mo:

I have started a response of clicking the name and sending them a private message "You are and evil asshole!"

It doesn't effect post ranking on the forum but it does give us an opportunity to respond directly to whoever the asshole is.

Keep up the good work...

Try directing your efforts toward those politicians who have made lying their profession.

Hint. Paul is not one of them.

Mr. P. is a nasty little liar, and always was.

He is the perfect republican foil, with a heart of pure Christian reconstructionism.

Vote for RonPaul............1220

WRONG.

Ron Paul absolutely DID vote "No" against the repeal of G-S.

The House voted on a bill. The Senate voted on a somewhat different bill.

Subsequently there was a conference to reconcile the bills and each house had to vote whether to agree to the conference report. Dr. Paul voted "No" in opposition to the repeal of G-S.

LINK: http://clerk.house.gov/evs/1999/roll276.xml

I can no speculate on Dr Paul's non-vote when the House version was passed. However, the record CLEARLY shows that he voted "NO" on the final version. He voted against the repeal of G-S.

No! You are wrong.

In an early procedural vote luaPnoR voted no.

BUT in the only relevant vote, the FINAL roll call vote, he DID NOT vote. He abstained.

So the fact is that he abstained from voting no in the important FINAL vote AFTER he voted no in a procedural vote six months before. A punk vote.

Here is the actual final roll call vote:

Wow, either you are a sophist or a lazy researcher, and, in either case, you are dangerous.
