I'm really just looking to hear what people have to say about Ron Paul and the "others" running. Pros and Cons and I say the "others" because I believe Ron Paul is the ONLY choice for 2012 but thats just me....What do you think?

For Ron Paul, the goal is for the South to Rise Again:

I think, if you think that, you better be careful what you wish for.

I've often wondered if, even after much information and debate, that Ron Paul supporters are not all just closet racists or anti-semites. Time will tell but this has been an interesting experience and I believe we've outed many people who we thought were genuine progressives and or libertrarians. In this sense maybe Ron Paul has done us all a favor

Ron Paul will not win. He will not run again. He isn't even a real "choice".

I think he's a (R)epelican and he smells funny.

Define the term year.

He is a (R)epelican, and his policies smell funny.

They always have.

Ron PauI the only anti-war candidate, he's got my vote. Not to mention his 30yr voting record and always supporting the Constitution.

his anti-war stance and the fact that he has a 30 year voting record that supports our Constitution has to be the biggest reason im voting for him not to mention he wants to get rid of the Fed Res. and bring us back to the gold standard. he may be a Republican but thats the only thing hes change, yea he was a Democratic before too but when you have policies like his its hard to choose a party when they are all against you. other than his party flip flop he hasn't changed his mind on anything and thats what i love the fact that he has a view on something and doesnt change it just to go with the flow or make someone happy

Ron Paul is not the only candidate who supports Ending the Fed. The other one is Newt Gingrich. Listen to his victory speech from South Carolina. Wouldn't the banks love getting rid of the Fed, the last regulating body left in America that is holding them back?

Newt is just making campaign lies.
