LIFE IS A GAME. Rock, Scissors, Paper is a Game, much like Life itself. Life has cycles, much like the rules of Rock, Scissors, Paper. The Rules of the Game is cyclic: Rock breaks Scissors, Scissors cuts Paper, Paper covers Rock. A full cycle is called a REVOLUTION. Revolution is a word that was derived from the Latin word revolutio, "a turn around". Founding Father Thomas Jefferson implied this when he famously said, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Rock, Scissors, Paper is more than a game, however - it is a language of Revolution. It is the story of Revolution told in a simple and easily accessible fashion, using familiar symbolism and metaphor to illuminate the stages of a Revolution:
Rock - the Bedrock of Society and the most abundant Occupiers of space. Scissors - Democracy. The Axis of Construction/Destruction. Paper - of course, Money.
Rock, Scissors, Paper can be expanded as a frame of reference in any political or economic debate. It also provides a teachable moment on self introspection. Best of all, Rock, Scissors, Paper is a FUN way to protest!
Play the Revolution - It is not just child's play!
Visit the Occupy Rock, Scissors, Paper webpage for further illumination of how Rock, Scissors, Paper is truly a game of Revolution:
