For everyone that thinks that conservatives want free markets hear it directly from the horses patoot:
Santorum & his ilk are not about liberty or libertarianism. Matter of fact, he sounds like a liberal in some ways.
When he lost his 2006 re-election bid, Rick Santorum built a lucrative career in the private sector based largely on income from businesses his work in Congress had benefited.

Just goes to show how corrupt the system is. Thanks for the comment.
You're welcome.
I certainly wouldn't want the likes of Santorum to be deciding the makeup of the Supreme Court.

He's no liberal, he's just another Fascist.
Same thing. The "conservatives" have adopted most of the previously "liberal" ideas & the "liberals" + their "conservative" friends are implementing fascism.
I would certainly agree if you're talking about Santorum or any of the other Reptilians running for office.
Yes, but this president we have isn't much better...He continues along the same line as Bush, he is just a better more eloquent version and maybe the better of the evils we might have to choose...Of course to the power elite, they get what they want in either case..
While I would agree, I am still concerned about the coming election. Although both sides are virtually in a dead heat in the competition over who is most corrupt, they are not at all the same when it comes to the kinds of people they would appoint to the court. And with Ruith Bader Ginsburgh and Kennedy about to retire, there's still a lot on the line. As such there is still a choice to be made. As much as I will hold my nose, I will still have to vote for Obama for that reason alone. Too much is at stake to allow my disgust to win out over the importance of the make-up of the court.
