Rick Perry cannot even participate in a debate as was witnessed at the debates he's attended, and he prides his states use of capital punishment.
Troll. Looks like the forums have been official co-opted by a deliberate and coordinated effort on the right. Just in the last two hours I've seen dozens and dozens of posts and threads working to demoralize this movement - especially from posters masquerading as OWS supporters - everything from "I'm packing up and going home, and so should you". To "hey lets be funny and call ourselves Fleabaggers!".

Big money conservatives don't want him. He won't be nominee. The Media will let you know who they decided the nominee is going to be with the way they cover the candidates. Taxes are a necessary evil. How do you plan on paying for schools, fire departments national defense, yada yada money don't just magically appear. Well lately it has but trust me we will pay for it sooner or later

If you are conservative and want to argue trickle up or down economics be my guest it's your opinion. But flat taxes don't work. Plain and simple

Well Rick perry wants a flat tax. And a flat tax isn't fair it's not fiscally responsible. Fair is everybody paying 48,000 a year for our federal spending. Can you afford that I can't. The progressive tax system. ( if used right is the only way) the less you make the lower rate you should have. The wealthy have more to lose in a cheap govt system. They lose more money in invasion. They get more benefits from roads. There goods are shipped on them. It's not a perfect system but a flat tax is awful, just awful. It only benefits the wealthy.

Honestly right now let's say he puts the flat tax at nine percent like Cain wants. Not a big deal on me i would probably pay less in taxes. But when you lower the wealthiest taxes by that much we won't even pay the interest on our national debt the flat tax would have to be in the 20% + area to make it. Plus do you think raising the taxes two percent on sumone who makes 7.00 an hour is gonna save social security and pay for our huge budget?? Come on now

9 % wont pay for our debt. And sales tax brings in zero dollars federally. Sales tax is done per state. So if Cain wants a 9 9 9 is that on top of the state sales tax ??? Michigan would be at15% sales tax would that increase sales on goods?? No probably not. A progressive system works. It's the loopholes congress has created that mess it up. 9 % don't cut 9% won't cover the interest on loans created by our govt. This flat tax is brought up because it sounds fair. And it will get them votes, Like obama saying universal health care it's what voters want to hear. Even if it isn't the root of the real problem

I'm saying the 9 % sales taxe plus michigans state sales tax of 6% is 15 % unless Michigan is supposed to beg for change for it's tax revenue.
