Forum Post: Rhyming Reason

With hate and lies we demonize, Helping others to despise; Barring hope for compromise, Making worse all our divides. With guns and violence everywhere, Wreaking havoc here and there, We say it’s more than we can bear, But nothing’s done to show we care. We’ve always been a violent nation, What we wanted we have taken, And until we all awaken, We will cry “we’ve been forsaken.” It’s time to see that we’re to blame, Accept our fault and feel the shame, Forgive for real, not just in name, Only thus can we change the game.
