I wish there were more of a movement around divesting from fossil fuels and encouraging people to invest in industries that don't harm the envrionment.
I just saw this list pop up on MSN news, and the top several investment recommendations are in petroleum. http://money.msn.com/stock-broker-guided/50-stocks-to-buy-in-december.aspx There needs to be more activism on this front!!!! A lot of people who would like to feel good about their investments are still investing in the destruction of the planet because everyone tells them that's where the money is.
