beyond protest, i imagine that ows is very important, because it is allowing like-minded people to ban together to shape the world as they would like it to be shaped. i think it would be good, if possible, if this web site allowed for something like friending, to make it easier for people who are not able to be at occupies to build networks and perhaps plan projects together. i know you guys are so busy. thank you for everything you are doing. peace.

yes, of course i know that. but what i'm saying is if it's not too much trouble, i think it would be wise to make this site more built for building networks of people. there are people already building permaculture farms and all kinds of amazing pieces of the future -- and some are needing help. there are those who have no access to these kinds of people/place.i think post-crash/mid-crash, it's going to be helpful to have access to each other. tribe.net used to be a place where visionary people could find each other -- it was also built for social connection and that was very, very helpful. everyone wanting to see the new is passing through here, but structurally the site is more conducive to sound biting at each other than bonding in interest areas. so maybe things could move ahead faster with a little structural help in here. it's astonishing how much of a difference interface can make in how people use resources.
