Repugnidems: the conservatives and neoliberals of both parties. Their guiding light comes from macro-economists like Milton Friedman and his leaders and followers, mostly the Austerians.

"...Modern macro devotees train macroeconomists to be unable to identify warn against, or take action to end even the most destructive bubbles. This is like training surgeons to believe that shock cannot occur and they should ignore shock in treating patients...."

"Trump is a lobbyist... they got one in the White House now'' - is such a powerful and insightful point from elf on this thread! A "lobbyist" for who? Brand tRUMP & Oligarchy! In compliment - see...

Yep - t republicans managed to shove through the greatest gift of wealth to the wealthy few since Ronald Raygun 1st introduced trickle down (never produced enough moisture to threaten the wealthy few with a diaper rash) strangulation of the public economics.

And where was the fire and brimstone one should have expected from the democratic party? As usual the dems made a weak-kneed protest but also as usual it was for the most part silent and accepting. This for two reasons (I surmise) 1.) They hope the republicans will have passed their own death warrant in the public's eyes and will pick-up seats in future elections. 2.) They for a very large part also cater to the wealthy few and so the wealth infusion does not really bother them (much) as they didn't ruffle the feathers of the wealthy few by successfully getting the Public to stand up and defeat it.

Now the republicans are hoping that they will win seats in 2018 because the dummies in their base will vote for them in gratitude for a tax cut that will actually bite them in the ass, most notably when the middle class tax breaks end in a few years and the wealthy tax breaks remain permanent, when they hope to continue to blame democrats for the downturn (because of short term memory of their base to forget that the republicans made any lower middle class tax breaks temporary).

ALL IN ALL = A Truly Fucked Time In The History of The USA.

Still was surprised that Trump restrained himself from saying to the poor and lower middle class "EAT CAKE" while partying with the other ghouls of the republican party celebrating their Democidal Victory.

Yep. "We just don't know what's good for us"...if they say something enough times through their propaganda channels that makes it true...it-is-good-for-us....it- will -trickle -down and if you don't like it you-are-a-snowflake. I think they actually said "suck my dick". Let's just cut it off damn it. I think America is tired of being raped and abused by these bully assholes. Trump is a lobbyist... they got one in the White House now.

Trump is a lobbyist... they got one in the White House now.

Not "just" for the wealthy few in this country either - but also for thoroughly sham democracies like Russia's actual dic"k"tator Pukin as well!

"We just don't know what's good for us"

Democide is not just about Wealth 4 t few & poverty 4 t rest, it is also about denial of global warming destruction

An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power

As noted by Al in this sequal = In order 2 address t environmental crises we r gonna have 2 spend some time fixing t democracy crises!

Let's see 224 to 203 not a single Dem voting for it, then 51 to 49 again not a single Dem voting for it, yet it helps the rich get so much richer, isn't that confusing?
