DCCC: Scott DesJarlais and Chinese Prostitution? News release from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee: Foreign Chinese prostitution money is allegedly behind the groups funding Congressman Scott DesJarlais's (TN-04) Republican Majority.

The Associated Press reported that Sheldon Adelson - the single largest donor to Congressman Scott DesJarlais's House Republicans - allegedly "personally approved of prostitution and knew of other improper activity at his company's properties in the Chinese enclave" of Macau, China. Recently, Senator John McCain said that Adelson is "injecting millions of dollars in Chinese 'foreign money'" by contributing to Republican campaigns.

"What will Congressman Scott DesJarlais do when his Chinese prostitution money comes from billionaire Sheldon Adelson?" said Jesse Ferguson of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. "House Republicans like Congressman DesJarlais are fighting tirelessly to protect billionaires like Sheldon Adelson who make fortunes overseas and Adelson is now the largest single donor to Congressman DesJarlais's Republican Majority. It's past time for Congressman DesJarlais to reject the support of these groups funded by foreign money from a Chinese prostitution strategy."

Billionaire Adelson has given $5 million to Speaker Boehner's Congressional Leadership Fund Super PAC, pledged $5 million to Leader Cantor's Young Guns Network Super PAC, given $70,800 to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), and has committed at least $20 million into Karl Rove's American Crossroads. Earlier this year, ABC News found that Adelson's company "has been under criminal investigation for the last year by the Department of Justice and the Securities Exchange Commission for alleged bribery of foreign officials."

BACKGROUND Sheldon Adelson Approved 'Prostitution Strategy': Fired Former Sands Executive. "The fired former chief executive of Las Vegas Sands Corp.'s Macau casinos alleges in court documents revealed Thursday that billionaire Sheldon Adelson personally approved of prostitution and knew of other improper activity at his company's properties in the Chinese enclave." John McCain: Adelson is injecting Millions of Foreign Money into Politics. "John McCain (R-AZ) said Thursday that casino magnate Sheldon Adelson is indirectly injecting millions of dollar in Chinese 'foreign money' into Mitt Romney's presidential election effort. 'Much of Mr. Adelson's casino profits that go to him come from his casino in Macau, which says that obviously, maybe in a roundabout way foreign money is coming into an American political campaign,' McCain said in an interview on PBS's News Hour. [Foreign Policy, 6/15/12]

Adelson's Company Has Been Under Federal Investigation. "The casino company run by the principal financial backer of Newt Gingrich's presidential bid, Sheldon Adelson, has been under criminal investigation for the last year by the Department of Justice and the Securities Exchange Commission for alleged bribery of foreign officials, according to corporate documents." [ABC News, 1/27/12]

**Now Adelson is funding Mitt The Mormon promising unlimited resources. The amount of a hundred million dollars has been mentioned as a benchmark number.

It looks like they don't want to mention that Adelson is under investigation by Chinese police as well as the US Department of Jusitce and the Securities and Exchange Commission for prostitution and organized crime connections in his Macau hotel.. **Go to

Oops! "In press statements issued on June 29 and July 2, 2012, the DCCC made unsubstantiated allegations that attacked Sheldon Adelson, a supporter of the opposing party," the DCCC said in an e-mail released Thursday. "This was wrong. The statements were untrue and unfair and we retract them. The DCCC extends its sincere apology to Mr. Adelson and his family for any injury we have caused."

That the cops in Macau found 100 prostitutes working in Adelson's joint and arrested them with 28 pimps is not an "allegation" it's a fact. That a Sands executive is suing Adelson for wrongful termination of his job for opposing what he calls Adelson's "prostitution strategy" is a fact. That at trial Adelson's lawyer lied to the court about key evidence and got caught is not an allegation, it's a fact. That the trial resumes on August 30- (assuming the litigant lives and is not silenced or bribed) is still another fact. The DNCC was faced with a threat it couldn't handle, an offer it couldn't refuse so to speak. Face the legal might of a man who has 25 billion dollars, and the media that fears him too or "apologize" for telling the truth. The financial cost of that threatened litigation was more than they could afford monetarily so they folded.

Obama looks to me to be just as corrupt as Romney is. The kind of money they are trying to raise makes honesty close to impossible. The only difference I see between them is that you will get more liberal court appointments with Obama.

The DCCC doesn't have the facts to back up their statements. It's very rare to get an apology.

Obama might or might not take money from a whoremaster given the opportunity. That's a "who knows?" proposition. That Romney, Gingrich and the GOP are on the take from a guy whose joint in Macau was raided by police and where 100 prostitutes and 28 pimps were swept up is not a hypothetical. That this guy Adelson is being sued for wrongful termination and the plaintiff says in court that Adelson dumped him for opposing Adelson's "prostitution strategy" is not a hypothetical. That Adelson's attorney told an inaccuracy to the judge regarding the availability of evidence is not hypothetical it's real. That if the plaintiff lives that long and isn't "reached" in some way the trial will continue August 30 also is a fact. The judge has warned Adelson's attorney not to lose or forget the documents this time.

The DNCC, had they said it this way, would not have to apologize for anything.

Nope, but everyone has a problem with farcical puritans baying about the purity and sanctity of the marriage vows, while organising prostitution rackets to fund electioneering campaigns.

There's no reason to doubt the veracity of the claims made in this article.

Of course not. Do you believe the retraction they have now made of their slanderous claims? People likw you prove how effedtive unproven claims can gain so much traction. No wonder politicians lie so much!
