We can grow enough food to feed the entire plant and save billions from oppression and exploitation from the evil few.
It's never been about growing food. It's been about money restricting access to food, Big-agro corporations losing profits if food supplies are too big, and then distributing food unequally to those willing to pay more for it.

they took land by force and deception, we're taking it back.
Yes, I forgot to add that.
Sidenote: America's number #1 crop... lawn turf
lol, america's population on food stamps 1/6 - god bless america, lol
Yes but now with 7 billion people and growing fast people on the planet how long can we keep that up. And don't forget people are living longer, etc. The future is going to be a nightmare I can only hope we have some sore of mass plauge or major world war to thin our population, maybe land war with China kill off a few million people--make some jobs to go around. Harsh measures for harsh times, because we can't just forget our national debt and we can't print anymore money we are screwed.
you ever travel, maybe across the states even, we can support more than double that with local farming and public gardens, where are all the fruit bearing trees and gardens?
Yes but for how long--do you realize how fast we went from 6 billion to 7 billion people, in just a few years--it was really fast less than a decade. Thats scary shit. I'm glad I don't have kids for the horrors of later life they will face if i did
yeah, we will surely exceed carrying capacity one day and then it will really be chaos and winner take all, human population crash...
those with the most will loose the most, some commit suicide cause they loose a mansion while entire families find happiness somehow, sharing a single room
I don't know, I'm actually worried about an impending economic collapse in our near future let alone that far off, where as supply lines would be cut off, martial law would be in effect, the government would take over farms and cattle farms and there would be food shortages. There is a contingency plan the government would abide by if the markets collapsed that you can look up--its a pretty scary scenario.
"we" are government, we will undoubtedly have to make a transition and many will be scared and confused, however, we can easily achieve what we need to because for the first time in human civilization we are connected.
we have the technology and whether we like it or not it is going to change our world, we are in fact evolving as a civilization.
local farming and gardens will be enough to feed the entire globe, easily.
