It is a great idea for the crowd to repeat what a speaker is saying when there is a lack of adequate sound equipment. But in an auditorium where the speaker can be clearly heard by all it becomes a cumbersome tactic that detracts from what the person is saying. It is important to be aware of how our behavior and communication effect not only our movement but also public perception of our integrity. It was disappointing to see Arundhati Roy's televised speech broken into short segments and repeated in a cult-like monotone chant. It made it unbearable to listen to, and I hope that in the future this tactic will be reserved for situations where it is actually necessary.
These protesters are making themselves look like idiots repeating parrot fashion what the speakers are saying.
Get them to stop, it is not helping things.
Ah, I love drawing people offsides.
Keep doing it please! It makes you all look really stupid!
Haha! I have 2 jobs you fucking moron. Just because people protest dosent mean they're unemployed you ignorant fuck.
