Forum Post: Re - Encampment

All over the world we see police destroying the Occupy encampments. People are still allowed to protest but without staying overnight in many places. This is another example of how politicians and media have so brilliantly pacified us. They want the rules to be followed and safety is their utmost concern. Well, I personally think that the reason a people's occupation took place is because the rules are fucked and we know it. As far as safety goes, are the conditions of a campground or the conditions of America safer? I don't really know, I personally would rather endure a little physical hardship than the mind rape I've felt by this consumer culture. I think Liberty Park should be taken back. OWS is an example for the rest of the Occupations and the peaceful retaking of Liberty Park would be a great example and huge boost to the movement. Let everyone know you're thoughts concerning this. I think a good time to do this would be December 21st, at dusk. The time is symbolic of the situation in America. Just as things begin to get dark for an unseemly amount of time, the people rise up and claim ownership for their own country. That is all, thank you.
