You guys claim to be inspired by the Arab Spring. Those people had goals, demands, tangible results that they sought/are seeking from their movement. All I seem to be hearing about Occupy is an "end to corporate greed", which honestly sounds even loftier than the overthrow of a 42 year autocracy. How do you expect your goals to materialize?
How you to expect to initiate change with only a few hundred members sitting in place? You are causing little to no inconvenience for local law enforcement and haven't caused any problems on Wall Street itself for weeks. It took millions at Tahrir to take down Mubarak, It took the claiming of entire cities and the raising of an army to topple Gaddafi. You guys better step up your game. I'm not saying get violent (not yet at least) because that will cost you credibility at the present, but you need to find a way to grow your movement, and I think developing some concrete demands would go a long way. I, like many of my fellow students, are 100% behind your movement, we just can't take you seriously because quite honestly, you guys are kind of a joke right now, you look like a bunch of hobos and hippies camping out against some abstract evil. Take a page of out the Syrians or Greeks book and shut shit down, create some havoc, force the government to show its uglier side to draw some support.
Your comments are not neutral since you resort to insults. If you do some research you will find that the Arab Spring uprisings did not all begin with plans in place. And promoting future violence is still promoting violence, which is against the principles of OWS.
