I will be arriving Saturday morning at LaGuardia.. and am wondering about the options for getting to Zuccotti Park.. buses, directions, helpful information would be nice. I've also read that although occupiers are able to stay in the park, they are not permitted to sleep or camp. If any information is available for out-of-towners I would really love some help!

I don't go to LaGuardia much but I found this:

"The easiest route is the M60 bus which picks you up at the airport and drops you off at 116th and Broadway in front of the gates of Columbia University. From here you can take a bus, taxi or subway to anywhere in Manhattan; we don't suggest riding the subway at night if you are new to New York."

When you get to Columbia, you can take the subway, the number 1 downtown and then at some point you have to switch to the 2 or 3 or an A train and get off at Fulton St., that's what I would do.

You can change trains at 59th and Columbus Circle.

People are sleeping in the park, you can use a sleeping bag and tarps but no tent.

just tell the cabbie you don't know where you are going and from out of town... that should give you a good tour of the city and then jump out when you see a bunch of tents

Ha. I'd rather not spend the last of what I have on cab fare. So the tents are still up then?

follow che's example... knock off the cabbie and claim in the cab in the name of the revolution. then you can drive there.
