Forum Post: Questions about your demands...

A lot of people are complaining about the greedy financial corporations. Questions:

  • Why so much focus on wall street and finances when there are Actors, Media, Medical companies, China, Cellphone companies, etc. with a big broom stick up yours? (pardon the french...)
  • How do you guys think to sustain the "resistance" with winter approaching?
  • A resistance without a leader is a fish without a pond... why not electing some reps that can at least represent what you have to say?
  • How are you getting your demands to the government?

To a lot of us at home you are looking like you are having a great party out there, but not much more. There needs to be some clarity and a voice to this or you ain't gonna make it.

This fight is on behalf of the dying Middle Class in America and what has always been known as the "American Dream". No one else is fighting FOR these ideals, but many forces are fighting AGAINST them, so it's time to fight back.

If we have reps then it takes the responsibility off our individual shoulders and puts it up to the "reps" to do all the work. As we have seen with our President (God bless him) that strategy hasnt worked. Many are protesting all of the above. That is the great thing about the movement. I dont know how or even if demands will be made. It could be that this develops into the rebuilding of the microeconomy. There is so much wrong its hard to know where to start to correct it. But at least we are united in doing something.

Sounds great although very ineffective. If the gov and corporates would care about what you have to say, they would have cared about you since the beginning... Have a leader, have a riot, be an inconvenient and be an eye sore for America, then they will listen.

Have you ever had an overbearing parent/ person in your life. They dont tend to listen, they never give ground. You can do everything they ask and they will do everything they can to weaken you so have to keep relying on them. In the process they put you down and make you think that they are entitled to the fruits of your work. If you want them to stop controlling you, you have to move out of the house and stop relying on them. This is each individuals responsibility.

Actually had (have) a mother like that... a royal pain!!! I ended up punching her straight down to the floor the last time she tried to hit me. That was effective, she never did that again. Then I moved out and now she still brakes my balls but distance makes it tolerable... and she can't touch me!
