Forum Post: Question about the points by our names (sorry I could find no info about it anywhere on this site)

Can anyone give other people more points somehow? Or is there some sort of invisible hand that deals out the points?

Assuming that higher point numbers mean 'point well-made', I'd like to be able to dole out a few to some well-derserving posters without necessarily commenting.

How does one do that?
