Forum Post: Putting people back to work?

Up early listening to the news and hear that a vote taken yesterday to put 60 bil into infrastucture did not pass, but we pay 130 bil for damage to our cars, maintenance and environmental. Is there something wrong with this process? Why are these people in Washington that were sent there to work for us, still getting paid if they are not doing any work? It just blows my mind. We need to stop the battle so we can win the war. We need America to go back to work.
