If everyone wants to bring big banks to their knees, then OWS should set a date for Americans to withdraw their money and put it in credit unions and/or smaller banks. Let the message be loud and clear - Americans will no longer give our money to the big banks. Banks WILL take notice if you hit them where it hurts. Let's set a date to do a run on big banks!!
But what about all the people working the window and cleaning the floors that you would put out of work by doing this? So what, they are collateral damange?

Here is what I suggest:
Do not move all of your funds. To put this big of a strain on the system may be irresponsible. Move some of your money out. Just opening an account will send the signal we need.

Another branch in the drive for justice: reuse to sign a mortgage structured on their terms. Unless they start treating long-term, secured loans better than short-term, unsecured loans, it's not worth it.
