Just sayin.

Feel free to copy & paste your favorite quotes of Puff skewering the RWNJs. I'll start:

RWNJ: "I love Fox, and compared to most that I encounter, of all walks of life, I am very well informed."

puff69622: "You must be surrounded by some dumb motherfuckers."

My all time favorite quote EVAH-and from looselyhuman....who woulda thunk?

"Even if this wasn't just a stupid website on the stupid internet, and we weren't a bunch of self-important ones and zeroes, we'd still be a bunch of outcast radicals and extremists arguing over which extreme utopian ideology that's completely divorced from reality should be somehow magically implemented without anything remotely approaching a strategy to do so."

[-] 3 points by looselyhuman (3117) 13 years ago

Thanks for the slightly-backhanded compliment. :)

[-] 2 points by justhefacts (1275) 13 years ago

Hey. I don't normally agree with you. But this quote made me laugh out loud AND spew diet coke. Nothing back handed about it. More of a.....whoa....moment is all. :-)

Is there any way to more directly speak to any version of "leadership" of the OWS people? What other forums besides this one?

[-] 1 points by looselyhuman (3117) 12 years ago

I think this thread may have inspired your copycat. :)

[-] 1 points by debndan (1145) 12 years ago

This website has DEFINATELY inspired a pretty sick novel. But I'm still working on it, need to come here from time to time to detox!

Keep up the good work OWS.

While I can't get here sometimes, I'm with you guys in spirit.

[-] 1 points by looselyhuman (3117) 12 years ago

If only there were such a thing.

[-] 0 points by justhefacts (1275) 12 years ago

Are you admitting that you are not any version of OWS leadership? Finally.

[-] 2 points by puff6962 (4052) 12 years ago

No, I am Quintas looking for a Cicero.

[-] 1 points by puff6962 (4052) 12 years ago

All politics are local, and I am not local. (Although, some would say that I am loco).

[-] 0 points by justhefacts (1275) 12 years ago

More like Don Quixote looking for his Pancho...

[-] 0 points by puff6962 (4052) 12 years ago

Probably.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 13 years ago

gotta love it........;)

[-] 1 points by justhefacts (1275) 13 years ago

I can just SEE the demotivator poster that goes with it!

[-] 5 points by shoozTroll (17632) 13 years ago

The truth hurts, but it's still funny.

[-] 3 points by justhefacts (1275) 13 years ago

One of the greatest run-on sentences of all time......seriously.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 13 years ago

It's the innertubes!

Punctuation optional.

I overuse and abuse the comma myself.

[-] 7 points by looselyhuman (3117) 13 years ago

Guess I gotta keep this going. A few highlights from one thread:

"Do you want to be a teacher's pet or do you want to change the world? Serious question. And quit making me think."

"You are a complete buffoon....You really belong in a different era......like the Medieval."

"I think you need to go back to the A A meetings.

RWNJ: I don't drink...

You should."

"Oh, you are so menacing. I bet you bark like a dog.

Bark like a dog for me, Skippy, bark like a dog.

Pawn of the oppressor."

[-] 3 points by looselyhuman (3117) 13 years ago

"With all the manure, there must be a pony in there somewhere."

:D

[-] 1 points by looselyhuman (3117) 12 years ago

"Sometimes you win a race with a lame horse.

RWNJ: Obama a pig!

George the monkey.....you probably voted for him twice. You probably throw feces at yourself too, don't you Sparky."

My fave happens to be right in this thread:

JohnMarsden:

It's easier not to take a political movement seriously because that would mean you'd have to invest emotional attachment to it and there is that risk you may be wrong and lose. Jon Stewart really has fucked up this country and the youth with this irrational garbage he's installed on you all.

puff6962:

Grandma, would you get off the computer.

[-] 3 points by looselyhuman (3117) 12 years ago

Classic.

[-] 4 points by TLydon007 (1278) 13 years ago

Notice that puff6962 usually has 0 points on all his best comments??

I think it's time we encourage the webmasters to create a separate, private forum so we can all focus on ideas for the future.

Either that or we can find one and private message it to people that may want to participate.

[-] 6 points by looselyhuman (3117) 13 years ago

I have noticed that. The sockpuppet army is strong.

It's probably a good idea, but the administrators seem pretty committed to anarchy - seems we're locked in, so I'm just enjoying the ride at this point. Basking in the absurdism.

I also don't know that I'd want to leave, just for the poor souls who still come to this website seeking information. Some of us need to stick around.

This is what they fear, they know this OWS movement will translate directly to political power. It's coming and they know it. The Tea Baggers are in their death throes. It's why they come here to disrupt but can't. We are strong and we will prevail. They are in collapse along with the repelicans!!!

The dead corpses will lay their path to lead these malcontents towards their spoils, it will be utter defeat. They can feel it and it is coming.

..................................................EXPECT US EVEN MORE

[-] 3 points by debndan (1145) 12 years ago

puff is a political genius (this time I'm not being a smartass)

[-] 2 points by looselyhuman (3117) 12 years ago

I agree :)

[-] 2 points by JesseHeffran (3903) 12 years ago

that's funny, and to RWNJ, i'd say getting your news from one location makes about as much sense as eating one type of food, hanging out with one type of person or living your whole life in one city, state or region.

puff69622: "I am a pretentious douche bag and pricks like myself are killing the OWS movement single handily."

[-] 11 points by looselyhuman (3117) 13 years ago

Puff isn't ruining shit. A few key points:

1.) As has been pointed out several times, by both sides, this website doesn't represent the movement.

2.) This is just a stupid website on the stupid anti-reality nothingness known as the internet, and we're just a bunch of self-important ones and zeroes. http://xkcd.com/386/

3.) Even if this wasn't just a stupid website on the stupid internet, and we weren't a bunch of self-important ones and zeroes, we'd still be a bunch of outcast radicals and extremists arguing over which extreme utopian ideology that's completely divorced from reality should be somehow magically implemented without anything remotely approaching a strategy to do so. It's absurd, and I love you. http://occupywallst.org/forum/the-absurd/

4.) My brand of radical moderate centrism is clearly the best, and therefore Puff should be president.

[-] 7 points by looselyhuman (3117) 13 years ago

5.) Dance, monkeys, dance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a15KgyXBX24

There are some much larger fish to fry than Toshiba.

[-] 0 points by stuartchase (861) 12 years ago

Not really. Besides, we can do more than one thing at a time. Anyways, this is a company that pushes around poor people, the U.S. Government, and the Japanese Government. They are powerful and they are bullies. I've rarely seen a company take such pride in hurting those who can't defend themselves. Let's take them out, wear it like a badge of honor, then go after the next fish. With the help of Anonymous, it should be a walk in the park.

[-] 1 points by puff6962 (4052) 12 years ago

This would be a symbolic victory. I'm interested in a real victory.

[-] 0 points by stuartchase (861) 12 years ago

I respectfully disagree. Besides, if you start having the idea that we only want the biggest and best victories, you become just like the very elistists you are fighting. :(

[-] 1 points by puff6962 (4052) 12 years ago

Some battles have to be fought after the war is won.

[-] 0 points by stuartchase (861) 12 years ago

Too many people hate the OWS, the battle against Toshiba does to things. One, it exposes a really bad company. Two, it gets people to stop thinking were just a bunch of socialist anti-american nuts. Toshiba is something everyone can get behind because Toshiba screws everyone, even their allies. That's the best part of it. Toshiba is stupid. They are big and powerful, and very dangerous, but if we work together, we can bring them down because they are dumb!

[-] 1 points by puff6962 (4052) 12 years ago

You must be short the stock.

[-] 3 points by puff6962 (4052) 13 years ago

Pretentious?

[-] 4 points by looselyhuman (3117) 13 years ago

I think that means "someone who makes intelligent, compelling arguments that I can't effectively refute." ;)

[-] 4 points by puff6962 (4052) 13 years ago

I try not to be insulting unless it is just time to fuck with the guy. He may have been the guy who threatened me with violence because I told him that CO2 wouldn't deflect heat back into space.

Puff6962 can get a stain on his blue dress in the oral office.
