Forum Post: Protesting without a solution?

We all know the Government has been bought out by the banks and is corrupt with greed. We know the current corporations are for the money and not the people. we know the banks control the land, corporations, senate, congress, state houses, city halls, police, the judges in their back pockets, the voting pools (2000 election as an example) and control just about all the news and media you get to hear. We know this has gotten out of control.

What I don't see are any demands or goals for this protest to accomplish. Here is what I suggest.

I see so many people starting to gather for this cause that if it gets big enough, we can create a new society. By this I mean I am sure we could find someone who is smart enough to change and fix things within our nation to help lead the way. The problem is if we did this we can be sure our current government and corps would not allow this and would have most of us arrested 1 by 1. Therefor, we must create a government that can protect us (and yes this will probably mean war, because we will be occupying the owned land) and will not be involved with banks or corporations. We now know our current government as masters (at least that's how I was raised) that dictate laws such as "using a cellphone to record police behavior is the equivalent of a statutory rape charge."

I would like to say a few quotes by Thomas Jefferson all of which we see apply to what is happening now:

I'm sure we can find people smart enough to vote for to fix this that can start to form our own government by the people, for the people. I would start by gathering groups and just take a moment to listen to peoples stories to find which each small group would think would be the best leader in that group. then the winner goes into groups of their own. You can start a form by doing this or person to person.

This is just a spark of an idea that I have because I see a lot of protesting with no real solutions. Hopefully enough sparks will get the smart people to ignite the right flame.
