Protesting is a start but in my opinion it is time for the next step to start a REVOLUTION TO REBUILD THE US and keep OCCUPING WALL STREET and GO AS FAR AS OCCUPYING THE CAPITAL and other government institutions. LETS GET RID OF THE CURRENT US GOVERMENT and restore a functional US government the founders of the UNITED STATES INTENDED. It is time for the sleeping giant to restore American to its greatness by its people who have been shafted by the greed of both political parties in Washington. Forget Democrats and Republicans, conservative and liberal, we are Americans. We deserve a functioning government that will restore the freedoms that our constitution promises. So don't protest its almost useless lets take this to the next level and succeed and build a new nation and truly take back what is ours America.

I think your right. We need to clean house. The present system is beyond broken. The 1% own it so elections are now a farce. Its like the old Soviet style of democracy, except we don't care if u vote or not. Here you get to pick a candidate but they're all owned by the same Corps.

Yes protesting is just a start, in this country we don't need a revolution to change the government. WE can do it at the ballot box. I have not heard one politician wanting to change the trade laws, they are what is causing us to lose jobs. We can send them a message in the coming election by voting against every incumbent. Non of them are worth reelecting, if they were we wouldn't be in the mess we are in. We can also organize a new party that is centrist, and get it registered in all fifty states by the time we get to the next presidential election.

Should voters have the opportunity to VOTE on a revolution?

Better to work to build a national organization of chapters that continue the protest, educate, build solidarity and raise money. Eventually, the powers that be will come down on you. They will tolerate you for a while but at some point, they will get nasty. They always have and always will. They will use legal means (Do you have a permit? Are you blocking streets? Are you being a public nuisance?) Eventually, you will piss off workers trying to get to work if you block off streets. Now, i recognize everything could change if we have an economic collapse next year. We need to put the fear into our Representatives. Numbers can make a difference. But the challenge is to sustain it. Normally, these things fizzle out. The power structure can be VERY patient. Meanwhile Winter approaches, people will get tired and if you do not have an organization, things can quickly dissipate.

Yeah! Lets continue to walk around with long hair and barefoot. While we are at it we all buy OWS t-shirts from one of the several dozens companies making money off our stupidity!

First we work on our spelling and grammar, then we worry about freedoms!
