The NYPD are behaving like that fat bully that used to beat you up on the playground. If things get seriously out of hand, I suggest starting a letter writing campaign to get the National Guard or the Army to protect protesters. It's been done before. National Guards and federal troops were called in to protect unions in the Pennsylvania steel strikes (1900's, 1920's?) and the 101st Airborne (Saw heavy combat in WW2, HBO series Band of Brothers) escorted the Little Rock Nine to highschool during the civil rights protests beginning in the early 50's.
Good. The more retards off the street the better.
I think you miss the point... The Army would protect the protesters from the police. Or are the cops the retards?
Who was there during 9/11 helping rescue efforts? They go from heroes to shit-heads in the matter of a month? for doing their jobs?
who is paying you and how much are you earning?
I'm not trying to badmouth the cops in any way. But they are behaving like bullies. The police in this country have a long history of beating down protesters. Besides, the police are in as bad a financial situation as everyone else, they are the 99% too. They go out and do their jobs so they can put food on the table and for the most part, serve with honor. They don't work so wall st. can get fat. The police commanders are blowing things way out of proportion, arresting and beating non-violent protesters (which is NOT their job).
the police union will help them get off scott free.
I actually heard talk about talking to the police union. They get screwed just as bad as us, their jobs are on the line too. Many want to protest but are scared to do so, for fear of loosing their jobs. All the videos of police brutality I saw were committed by the commanders (white shirts) not the beat cops (blue). If the police union marched with protesters, it would send a great message.
